This is an OOC shop where you can purchase skills and other persona related things for your character using Fate Points (FP) which can be obtained a number of ways.
General Purchases
Level ups
Leveling up your persona brings a number of benefits. It allows you to enter higher level stratums in explorable areas, increases your skill list cap by one every time, and may unlock your "awakened" and "ultimate" personas for purchase.
In order to level up, one must have invested a certain amount of FP into their skills/persona. Therefore, one can not simply continually buy level ups. Things that count towards this total include: skills purchased and skills obtained in any other way. Skills that weren't directly purchased count for whatever amount they would normally have been purchased for. (Agi obtained without a purchase counts as 600 FP invested.) The level ups purchases themselves do not add to this total.
Example: One must invest 2,000 FP in order to purchase their first level up. Upon starting, they will already have skills that equate to about 1,400 FP. (Starter skills.) If they invest any amount that brings them over a total of 2,000 invested TP, they can purchase a level up.
(1,000) Level 2 Upgrade: Adds a 5th skill slot and allows entry to 2nd stratum areas. Requires 2,000 invested FP to buy.
(3,000) Level 3 Upgrade: Adds a 6th skill slot and allows entry to 3rd stratum areas. Allows the purchase of an awakened persona. Requires 6,000 invested FP to buy.
(6,000) Level 4 Upgrade: Adds a 7th skill slot and allows entry to 4th stratum areas. Requires 12,000 invested FP to buy.
(10,000) Level 5 Upgrade: Adds an 8th skill slot and allows entry to 5th stratum areas. Allows the purchase of an ultimate persona. Requires 20,000 invested FP and an awakened persona to buy.
Awakenings
This is where you can evolve your persona, or even obtain one for a civilian character.
Upon purchasing an awakening of any form, you are given the option to "RP" the awakening in any way you desire. The awakening can then be approved by a mod. Alternatively, you can skip this if you want. You may then make your new persona which can be added into your profile for approval. Be sure to add the new benefits from each awakening accordingly! If evolving your persona, your new persona retains your previous one's skills.
(2,000) Basic Persona Awakening - For civilians. This can be purchased at any time. You starting persona is limited to the same starting skills, however you retain your character's level as their new persona level.
(6,000) Awakened Persona - Allows for the creation of an "awakened" persona. This persona has a NULL damage in whatever element your basic persona had a strength in. If your persona had two strengths they both become NULL. If you had one strength, you may make a second element (not your weakness) a resistance. Finally, you may also upgrade/add any skills with a total cost of 4,000 or less to your persona for FREE.
(12,000) Ultimate Persona - Allows for the creation of your ultimate persona. This persona has either a repel/absorb damage in whatever element your awakened persona had a NULL in. If your persona had two NULL elements they both can become repel/absorb. If you had one NULL and one resistance, you may your resisted element a NULL. Finally, you may then add any skill you want to your ultimate persona for FREE. This includes unique skills. The skill chosen may even have a custom name should you wish them to be called something else. Alternatively, you may make a custom skill for your character. Though, the skill must be approved by an admin for fairness sake.
Expansions
(50,000) Expansion 1 – View Below
(75,000) Expansion 2 – View Below
Expansions are limited to Persona-users that have achieved Level 5 and have achieved their Ultimate Persona. There are no exceptions to this. There are three options, each described below.
Option 1
You decide you want more versatility. Expansion 1 will expand your skill slots by 2, giving you a total of 10 skill slots. Once you purchase this, however, Expansion 2 can only be a similar expansion, which would grant another 2 slots, for a grand total of 12 skill slots.
Option 2
You decide you want more raw power. Expansion 1 will expand your “Unique” slots by 1, giving you a third option of a bolded skill in the Persona shop. Once you purchase this, however, you'll be locked into this route. Expansion 2 provides another Unique slot, for a grand total of 4 Unique skills.
Option 3
You decide you want another unique power. This is the “Custom” route. Given that a custom skill can be pretty powerful, not to mention unique on a number of levels, both Expansions will bond together to present a second Custom skill. In other words, purchasing Expansion 1 will do nothing until you've also purchased Expansion 2. Upon purchasing Expansion 2, you will now, free of charge, have access to a second Custom skill. This second Custom Skill will not take up your remaining Unique Skill slot. In other words, you may possess Custom 1, Unique 2, and Custom 3.
Now, you may not mix-and-match. If you go with Option 1, you'll end up with 12 Skill slots, regardless if you change your mind come time to buy Expansion 2. You can't buy Expansion 1 of Option 1, then Expansion 2 of Option 2. Furthermore, for Option 1 and Option 2, this only expands your limitations. You'll still be expected to pay for any new skills to fill your slots, or upgrades in the case of empowering skills to their new, unique variants. The Custom is free because you because put money down on it for the first Expansion without a pay-off. Plus we'd have to make a User-only Custom purchase option, just for this case.
Skills
Here's a few things about skills.
Skills can be upgraded to higher tier versions of themselves as indicated by the skill families below. You do not have to buy the base amount every time. For instance, if you have Agi which costs 600 FP and you want Maragi which costs 1,500 FP, you may simply upgrade it for the difference of 900 FP.
You are also limited to two unique skills on your persona. (You may find out which skills are unique below. They are in bold.) They can either be purchased or received upon obtaining your ultimate persona. (If the skill you chose when receiving your ultimate persona was a custom skill, it is counted as a unique skill.)
