This is a shop located in the Golden Alice district that focuses on all things combat related. It is run by a burly old man named Laharl. It is here that you can purchase new weapons and armor; as well as make some modifications to them, for whatever reason you may have. Though the items are "purchased with IC money," you will be buying them with Fate Points.

Physical weapons to fight with. You may only use weapons with which you have a proficiency in. Weapons may be traded in for half their value should you wish to sell any.

These upgrades allow civilians to enter higher level stratums. Though they are limited to the third stratum no matter what. Though, one must invest a certain amount of FP before they can buy each level. Only active equipment and added proficiencies count! (If you have a proficiency in swords and axes, both your active sword and ax counts towards this total. Only your active set of armor counts as well.)
(1,000) Level 2 Upgrade - Requires an investment of 6,000 FP in your character's active equipment to purchase. Allows them to proceed into 2nd level stratums.
(3,000) Level 3 Upgrade - Requires an investment of 12,000 FP in your character's active equipment to purchase. Allows them to proceed into 3rd level stratums.
Equipment Modification
You are able to customize your armor and weaponry a bit with the help of weapon mods that you may find on your journey. For instance, you made have found a Fire Weapon Mod. You can come here to add it to your weapon so that it now does fire damage! Another example is if you found a Slash Resistance Armor Mod. You can add this to your armor to allow you to resist attacks of that type.
(NOTE: Your weapon may have only have one damage modifier and status effect modifier EACH!)
(Upgrade Component [counts as a 500 FP investment] + 1,000 FP) Weapon Damage Modifier Upgrade - Changes the damage type of a weapon using the corresponding weapon upgrade.
(Upgrade Component [counts as a 500 FP investment] + 1,000 FP) Weapon Status Effect Upgrade - Adds 25% chance of status effect upon hit.
(Upgrade Component [counts as a 1,000 FP investment] + 2,000 FP) Tier 2 Weapon Damage Modifier Upgrade - Changes the damage type of a weapon using the corresponding weapon upgrade with a +25% damage boost/pure 25% damage boost to weapon.

You can also un-mod existing weapons and armor for a fee matching the implementation cost. For instance, removing an armor nullification upgrade would cost you 5,000 FP.
