Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
Vice began as he finished another piece of his delicious, not quite that fast, food. The following pause was emphasised by him drinking rather obnoxiously from his straw to get everyone's attention and away from the rather bleak topic that they were treading on. Honestly, much as the biker loved going through the planning stages and such, the next battle was, at the very least, still a month away. And after hang to go through something they just did, stressing themselves out so much more is a bad thing.
"We just came back from a rather difficult battle."
Leaning back, a satisfied smile on his face as the after taste of the burger was almost as good as the actual taste. "The next one isn't happening for another month so really, we'll do what we can for that tomorrow so for today, try to at least enjoy yourselves. Rest and enjoyment's an important part of training as well, doing too much physical activity and the copious amounts of stress would just hinder your growth."
"Like what Kyle said, if you're still unsure of your current ability to stand against the enemy, then we can create a system where the more experienced fighters can give you tips, hints, and guides on how to do something better. This will also help you guys learn how to use teamwork for once, rather than the mess we all saw today. That's just to make sure that next time the freaks pull a fast on us, we'll be doing more than just taking names and kicking ass. We'll all walk out alive too."

"The other humanoid shadow that showed up. The snake girl. I met her before, as well. I didn't catch her name, but...she said something about not attacking women or girls unless provoked. And...I don't think it was gratitude that brought her there tonight. Probably something else." Layla's words caused Ringo to think for a moment...yet for some odd reason that was hard at the moment as he continued to sip.
"I know that girl. She's a student at my school. I've... actually been kind of worried about her for a while, but she's... very difficult. To be perfectly honest, she rather scares me. Now that I've seen her and the Shadow... I think I was kinda justified. I want to talk to her about this but honestly? I doubt she'll give me the time of day. I...have other fish to fry now," Phoebe was a teacher? Ringo wondered if hair dye was allowed now.
"The shadows we encounter have been getting stronger, but so have we," Layla said. "Objectively, no, last months or the month before's weren't that bad. But I can almost guarantee you that after the fight two months ago, nobody who had been there had fought anything that strong before. I even seem to recall there was someone who accidentally healed it...but we ended up having a lot of that this time around, so I guess I shouldn't talk."
"Wow, It sounds like in the coming months we'll have our work cut out for us," Ringo sluggishly nodded in agreement with Phoebe. "Do we have any idea why they show up in the city during the full moon? Like, what they're trying to achieve. Kyle and me discussed a theory about it some days ago. We thought they might be trying to establish another dead-zone in the middle of the city, but now that I know they're related to this... thing where people turn into coffins for an hour, I'm not too sure."
"I dun know about dat..." Ringo said. "Wat I do know is that dis tastes great!" Ringo laughed as he placed the cup down and laid back laughing. One would notice his face is a bit red as he started to take a bit out of one of the fish. "Like...eberythin here...what do they put it in?" Any casual observer will no realize Ringo is completely out of it. Any careful observer will no that he is out of it after a medium sized sip. "Oh! I bet it's sushi rice!!"

Phoebe nodded at Vice. Guy had a point.
"Darn it, Vice is right. We shouldn't mope, especially me," she sighed and raised her glass. "Let's just have some fun tonight, we earned it!"
She took a big sip of her drink and smiled, enjoying the flavor. Cuba Libres always hit the spot. And her food was great, this place made the best chicken fingers, with a delicious honey-mustard sauce that was just the right kind of sweet and tangy and spicy. Heaven on a plate with a side of Italian-style, extra loaded salad. Perfection.
She chewed down a bite of her food and then stared at Ringo. He'd... ordered what she had, drink-wise and she'd seen him take a tasting sip... and now he looked drunk. He acted drunk. He talked drunk. He WAS drunk.
"Holy crap Ringo, you're drunk already?" she blurted. "Kyle, get that drink away from him before he gets completely bombed. Jesus Christ, lightweight or what?" she chortled."Ringo? You okay there sweetie?"
