Aegyo didn't usually get so wordy or expressive over the things he felt. He was rather good at keeping things toned, but when it came to his worries of other people giving up on life he wasn't one to sit by quietly and let them think there wasn't hope out there. Even if that wasn't the case with Laz he was going to let the other man know that regardless of how boring it got life was worth living. He hadn't even noticed the dangerous glint in the other man's eyes within his own ranting, if he had, he might have questioned it. However, he remained oblivious and that surprise on the other man's face gave him some sort of hope that the other man was absorbing what he was saying.
To Aegyo nothing was worse than death. Not even endless loneliness. To give up meant that you were weak. He refused to give up. He wouldn't give himself over to those feelings. He wouldn't become like the things he fought against.
Aegyo exhaled heavily then as he looked toward Laz to see what sort of reaction he'd have from all of that. That grin appearing had him feeling a little flustered, but the hand that came toward him had his eyes shutting briefly as he pre-winced in worry that maybe he'd offended the other man with his ranting somehow. Though when it came to pat and ruffle at his hair those eyes shot open and his gaze lifted to the taller man once more. A look of absolute confusion crossing his features.
"Ag... " he repeated in a murmur. Though he smiled a little absentmindedly despite himself. A strip of color dancing upon his pale face. "Yeah yeah. Don't you worry about me. i'm stronger than I look. I won't be weak and give up so easy." he promised the other man without saying the words.
He followed laz into the store, looking around a bit as he did, "hmm. Milk if they have any or some of that fizzy water would be good." He stated thoughtfully. "I'll grab the food then." he stated giving the other man a thumbs up before working his way down the aisle. Humming softly along with a song that was stuck in his head while he looked over the different types of things they had there. Eventually deciding on a spicy flavor of ramen and he grabbed two bowls, one for the both of them, then looked around once more to find where the other man had gone.
"Laz?" He called out as he searched.
It was nice, in Aegyo's opinion, to have someone to talk to. If even for a little while like this.
