Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

"Exactly. We know better, though." The redhead smiled as she chuckled a bit. For a moment she wondered if she would get in trouble since she had definitely started talking to the customer as a friend and not a saleswoman, but mentally shrugged it off. She worked harder than most of her coworkers and actually knew what she was doing with the plants. There was no way she would get in trouble, and besides, she was due for a break anyway--she could just count this as one. Pondering the question for a moment she shrugged, "A few. I guess I get distracted easily so I tend to jump from hobby to hobby. Of course gardening is one of them, but other than that I like to read, knit, and sometimes draw scenes. What about you? What do you do for fun, other than take classes?"

"Ooh, fencing? That's neat! I've always been better at hand-to-hand combat, but swords have always been fascinating too. As for chess, I've tried it but have never been very good, admittedly. Of course, if you have any questions about plants while you're learning, I hope to hear from you!" She smiled as she talked, enjoying the discussion of their hobbies. It had been a long time since she had talked about something so common. Of course it didn't help that she never tried talking to very many people outside her Aunt, Uncle, and her coworkers. The latter she didn't like all that much, so it didn't leave her with very many options. "I know you're in a dorm so they may not let you, but do you have any pets? I've got two cats myself, and even if they can be pains they're sweet." While she was taking the time to chat and take her break, she decided she may as well turn the conversation possibly to pets. She loved the plants, of course, but her cats were her children in a way too.

She had shrugged, eyebrows raised. "Maybe I'll look into learning how someday. I can't just rely on Wing Chun forever." For a split second she almost admitted that she meant with the growing spook threat that was in the city, but caught herself. Instead she frowned and gave Isolde a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry you can't have pets. Maybe someday, though! I'm sure when you're done with your schooling there will be plenty of opportunities to adopt a pet of your own. You're right though, both of my kitties are very sweet. One followed me home, and the other a co-worker had found with his litter and I couldn't not take him in."
