Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

[Purification in Progress]
Back again. Anne apparently couldn’t get enough of this museum. She loved art, what could she say. Not even that disaster of a first trip could ruin it for her. Her arm was much better, after all. As long as she played it safe and with less attitude she should be fine. The main thing she was worried about was losing yet another jacket--these things weren't cheap! Regardless of her concerns, here she was again. There were things to explore and baddies to kill; no time to worry about her wardrobe now.
This time she planned on paying less attention to the paintings around her, and more to her actual surroundings. Anne had a feeling she would have made it out with far less injuries the last time if she had. It didn’t help that the bugger used fire either. Or was all metal and she thought it was a good idea to run up and punch it. Ultimately she was her own enemy it seemed, but nothing that time and learning from her mistakes wouldn’t change. All she could do was realize certain things were dumb and kick herself for her lack of common sense later. As long as she survived, that was all that mattered.

Well. At least they weren’t metal this time. “And all this time I thought books were the one thing I could trust to not grow a creepy beard,” she muttered, raising an eyebrow at the hairy book. Of all the things she expected to see, that admittedly wasn’t one of them. That, nor the table with a juggling addiction. How that was even possible she had no idea, but by this point she was beyond trying to make sense of it. Shadows were shadows, that was all there was too it, and she was ready to get rid of them.
Holding her arms at the ready she took a deep breath, “Cery, time for a little light reading.” Was it silly that she continuously said silly one liners while she was essentially talking to herself? Well, yes, but it kept her entertained so that was what mattered. As she set her eyes on the table, it seemed to sway, glowing for a moment. Her eyebrows drew together, confused as to why she’d even notice it doing that--it was kind of silly, really. Though at the same time it managed to be kind of adorable. Scrunching her nose she shook her head, trying to ignore it. Whatever, it wasn’t like she liked the table or anything, even if it was acting silly for a shadow.
Blinking her eyes to try and clear her head, she turned to the tome instead. It wasn’t as though she didn’t want to attack the table, the book just seemed easier to kill, that’s all. Of course it was. Charging it, she struck with the heels of her hands, before finally pulling it down into her knee as she kicked into it. “Take that, ya punk.” Well, easy enough to dispatch. Now there was just the table. Looking back over to it, she frowned. She didn’t have to kill it, did she? Leaving one shadow alone wouldn’t hurt anything, surely. The Cerynitian Hind stood next to her, scowling angrily from under her mask. ’Snap out of it. We need to move.’
“I know that, but…”
‘No ‘but’s, Ariane. Move!’
Blinking out of her reverie, she tried to focus, and just in time. It was glowing red, and she scowled. “Not this time…” Holding her hand out, the Hind’s eyes glowed blue, “Bufu!” Shards of ice assaulted the table, and while it didn’t seem to do much, it at least interrupted it. She knew the Hind was faster than her, and if she took too long there was the chance of getting hit by the fire spell again. “Cery, go ahead and skewer that creep.” Before she had even finished her sentence the Cerynitian Hind charged, blade at the ready, and drove her blade through the center of it. Standing in a cloud of smoke, she turned, giving Anne a look of annoyance.
Anne scowled, turning around before dismissing the Hind. That was close, she knew it. If these things could charm her, that just posed even more of a danger. Still, another night came to a close, and it was time to head home.
