Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Maria didn't knew she actually would be happy there were more users around.Yes more users would mean more progress in the shadow research, but it also meant that more innocent people were drown into this. She drunk some of her water while listening about the tales of the full moon. A really powerful shadow. Multiple persona users and it still stood its ground? unbelievable, she would look around for one during the next full moon. Maria took her GSM and looked at the calendar. "Yea it's about full moon in week or so." She noted. time was getting short for this. She got much stronger the last month, but would it be enough? I guess I am getting pretty scared too, but I'll try to help too next full moon. Maria noted. She putted a note in her GSM so that she wouldn't forget and an alarm would go the evening before midnight, before putting it back in her pocket.

Phoebe ate some of her noodles while watching Maria keep a note on her phone.
"Wow, just a week away. We're gonna be hard-pressed for time to train and practice," she said thoughtfully. "I hope I'll be a little stronger by then... you too."
Just a week... this worried her. She really had to get Kyle and CJ on the whole thing, and fast. They were both quite under-prepared for the oncoming fight. She also had to get in touch with Vice and Alisa and hopefully some others, to organize some plan. She hadn't seen hair or hide of Tristan since his Persona changed and she was worried about him, too.

Maria ate some of her noodles before they became cold. "I hope we are, as I am now I most likely won't be much of a help." Maria noted. She really did became much stronger last month but as she heard it, it would be quiet the strong shadow. "Do you know other persona users, except us? Maria asked. She herself knew a few but she didn't knew a lot by name. Except Tristan from that mission. But Maria wasn't entirely sure he was a user, he never confirmed it nor did she never see his persona. This full moon was promising if frightening too.

"Umm... yes, I know a few, but not very well," Phoebe confessed, eating some noodles quietly.
She thought about it. How many of them did she actually know? She had passing acquaintances with a lot of them but she didn't really know many. How much could a lot of them be trusted? What were their goals? Did they all share the same one - that is, to find out just what was going on and find a way to break through the perimeter and regain freedom? It was always a puzzling problem indeed.
"Let's see, there's my co-worker Kyle... there's CJ but he's real new to the business. I know Vice, he's a pretty experienced guy but you wouldn't really know it, looking at him. Alisa, I don't know her very well. There's John Nicholson, he's an older gent. Um... I also know Amane-- uhm, she was with me and another girl in a battle down in the catacombs. Hmm... there's also Tristan but I think he... is going through some crap right now. I know a very tall girl named Nisha, I think, but I haven't seen her since I went on that job with her... I met a kid named Rikki the other day too but I had to run off pretty soon so I don't know him very well. It's kind of weird trying to get people to talk about Personas so... yeah."
She had listed them off awkwardly. It sounded weird when she did that.

Maria listened to Phoebe while eating some of her food. There were so many persona users it seemed. Maria only knew Tristan who seemed to be in some trouble. Well he could handle himself, he proved that at the beach. She understood that it was hard to talk about the persona. "Yea if you don't know them you'll not even know they exist." Maria reacted. She took a sip of her water. This was a difficult case. "Where do you think the shadows come from?" She asked. Maybe if they knew that they could go there and change whatever was wrong there. "If I had to guess I guess somewhere in the outer area of the city." But where in that area she couldn't guess.

Where do Shadows come from?
The big, sticky question. The question they'd all been asking since the perimeter happened and they started getting Personas. Which carried with it the question, what the hell are Personas anyway-- and what are Shadows? What are they up to? What the hell is going on?
Questions. Just... lots and lots of questions. And all this time, none of them was closer to any answers. It was maddening.
"We don't know for sure. The perimeter is everyone's best guess-- at least, that's where they seem to be based. We have no idea where they actually came from or what they even are," Phoebe grumbled. "We're stumbling in the dark. We know very little about the situation. We know we can't leave, we know we can't contact the outside world... but we don't know what's keeping the Shadows out of the city, with the exception of the ones that've turned up during the full moon. It's.... really confusing."

It really was a stupid question. If she knew she would most likely bring the shadows a visit, not this noodle bar. Or be busy arranging an attack on that place. No contact with the outside world but indeed, what was keeping the shadows from a frontal assault? The longer they waited the stronger the persona users were becoming. ugh none of this made any sense. Maybe... they were becoming stronger quicker then we are? They are biding their time too? There wasn't any time to think about this. She just eat more noodles. "So all we can do is fight them next full moon and hope for the best?" Maria asked the other teacher, curious if there was anything else they could do.

"That seems to be the gist of it," Phoebe sighed. "As far as I know, most of us are trying to get stronger because we suspect the Shadows are, too. I suppose the best thing to do is head out to the outskirts and find Shadows to practice on. It's... um, sorta like a work-out, I guess? You know the weird blonde lady in the Gap? I sometimes do odd jobs for her. She pays pretty good and the jobs usually result in good practice for me. I get to meet people too. Hey, let's swap phone numbers. If either gets a job from her, we could team up and do it, what do you think?"
She pulled out her cellphone to exchange numbers with Maria. "It's a good way to keep in contact for the impending full moon, don't you think? We oughta be organized."

Maria really didn't like the idea of going to the outskirts to train. It would most likely be far more dangerous there then anywhere else in the city. Then again if nothing was done it could all end badly. She should go there sometime. "Yes I know her. In fact I once did a job for her. Got me a nice trinket." Maria answered as she didn't have it with her right now. She usually only took it when she went to train or had some serious 'business' at shadow infested area's or the dark hour. Which was close to never anyway. She took out her phone to register Phoebe. "Yea, maybe we could do a job together." Maria answered after she putted her phone back. She then began to eat some more noodles.

"I know it sucks to go out to the perimeter," she sighed, noting Maria's expression. "But it's all we can do right now. Unless we get stronger, we're going to be swept up - after all, the Shadows could potentially be doing the same."
That thought always scared her. Yeah, it was great that they could improve through practice and combat and exercise... but the same went for the Shadows. She'd noticed that there was often a dramatic difference between the power levels of Shadows in different areas, especially stratums. It could be really unnerving and they needed to be prepared for such circumstances. After all, they discovered new places all the time and they never knew what would be lurking in them so they always had to be prepared for the worst.
Her phone ringing knocked her out of her thoughts. It went off with the loud, triumphant tone of "Guren no Yumiya" from Attack on Titan and almost scared her. Flushing red, Phoebe picked up her cellphone with a quick apology to Maria and answered.
"Hello? Oh Hisako-san-- yes? Why, isn't Kyle--? Oh. He's not there yet. No, I have no idea where he is, have you called him? Uuh... I think I might know, I'll try calling him. Yes, don't worry, I can go pick it up. I'll go right now, I'm not far. Don't worry about Kyle, he's probably just left his phone out of reach. Yes, yes, don't worry about it. Please calm down, you know your indigestion is bad already. I'll call you back when I have the box. Bye."
Phoebe hung up and let out a long-suffering sigh. "I'm so sorry to cut this short but that was from my other job. I work at Shakespeare & Co., a bookstore in Golden Alice district. My employer needs me to go pick up something. Uh... You should totally come by some day, I'll buy you coffee."
She grabbed a napkin and quickly scribbled her phone-number on it and gave it to Maria. "Here, if you ever need help with something, please call me. It was great meeting you. See you later!"
She got up and squeezed her way past the full tables, going to the register to pay for her meal before hurrying out the door.

Maria finished her noodles when phoebe gave Maria her phone number. She already registered it so that wasn't a problem. But she would still keep the paper in case her mobile phone would have problems or anything. She quickly finished her noodles but they were almost all up so that didn't took long. "It was nice knowing you, Phoebe, till we meet again!" Maria told the other teacher while she was running away. Maria payed her part and also left the place. Maybe she would actually go tot that book shop after all. Maybe they have some nice books there.
