Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Reika stood a little distance back from the window, so he could jump in, with a stupid grin on her face. Once he jumped she watched him with her eyes. First, her eyes went up, and then they quickly went down. Fast enough that she actually had to step forward and look down at the floor below. As she expected, the human couldn't make such a jump, though she did her best to look very surprised. The human was eventually able to scramble up the side of the building, but it might have been faster just to use the stairs. Oh well, if he wanted to try too hard to look cool she wasn't about to spoil it. With a nod, she darted off to where she expected the master bedroom to be and started rifling through the distressed room to find the next jewelry box. Soon, she dusted off an old box with a lock that she was easily able to break. She didn't wait for the human before digging through the box, but she did look over her shoulder frequently to make sure he was still coming. Not that she needed to, she could 'see' him in other ways.
"So then I find the next box and I do it again! And then I jump to the next house and find the next box and do it again! I keep going until I get bored and then I go hide."
The place was pretty old, and not exactly in the most well kept either. Then again, it wasn't like the young man could expect these places to have anything taking care of them. Specially with all these shadows lurking around. Thankfully the place was devoid of them again, or maybe it was just their presence making it difficult for any of the lesser ones to mingle around the place. You don't really play around when there's a bunch of dangerous things near you after all, and if you were one of the lesser shadows that mostly meant get the hell out of there if you wanted to lounge around more.
Making his way towards the master's bedroom, and making sure that he didn't bump anything over in the dim lightning nor find any new pieces of furniture with his shin, the young man was greeted with the sight of the shadow already looting the box for something. Along with some explanation about how she went about doing these kinds of things. Shaking his head in exaggerated manner, a well meant sigh escaping him, the human then made his way around to the other side of the room to try and look for any other box that might be of use to this little treasure hunt of theirs.
