Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Ally was surprised to hear what the girl said. She wasn't religious in the least bit. And yet, Ally could only affirm to herself that it truly didn't matter who they prayed to. It was the act itself that made it important. On top of all of these thoughts on religion, Ally could only remain captivated by the girl's seemingly selfless nature. These shadows had likely been what she lost her father to, and yet she still felt sympathy for them. This girl had been in a very similar situation to Ally, and yet, Ally could only feel that their ways of thinking were leagues apart. This girl was clearly something else. She did not respond to what she said. She simply listened while continuing to pray.
Finally, the girl made one last comment in that slow voice of hers. They were words of reassurance. And for a moment, she was reminded of the words of encouragement that she received from her father when her mother had died. And now here she was, when he was gone, receiving such words. Such an odd feeling. I will. My father would have wanted me to. She continued facing ahead as she spoke and prayed. Both her parents would have wished that for her. You be careful too. She turned towards the woman suddenly, saying that out of nowhere. . . .I just felt the need to say that. Then slowly, she tuned back to face the desk again and continued praying.

The woman was silent for a bit, letting the girl continue. The sentiments were returned. Really, this girl was admirable to have come out of that slump so quickly. Even if it was just a single, temporary meeting like this, Nisha felt as though a burden had lifted from her shoulders. It was the first time that she really encountered another person while out there. It really did put those nagging feelings she contemplated after killing a Shadow out of her mind. After all, she had acted to protect this girl this time. There was no doubting herself this time. Still, she remained quiet for a moment, piecing together her thoughts.
”Thank you. For that, and. . . for your time.” The giant finally spoke. Explaining it would have been difficult, so she just summed it up nicely. She thought, anyway. ”I already. . . fought some things. . . before meeting you. So I'll be. . . heading home to feed. . . my friend.” Yippa often was very hungry when she returned. It was one issue with her staying out too long.

As Ally finally finished praying, she looked back up at the girl. It seemed that she was getting ready to go. By the sounds of it, the girl had a pet of sorts back at home that needed feeding. I see. . . I just got here, so I'll be exploring for a bit longer. It was nice talking to you, even if it was brief. She was happy that she got to talk to someone today out here. It was a nice break from all the violence that she was going through. Yet, at the same time she was a little sad to see the girl go.
Actually, now that she noticed, there was something that she failed to learn about the girl. Also! I don't think I got your name. She looked up at the girl, hoping for an answer. After all, she didn't want to simply keep calling this person without being able to say their name. Ally felt like she would likely see this girl again someday; perhaps on the battlefield. It may have been the start of an interesting comradeship.

Nisha nodded in response to the comment. Really, she could agree to that. She smiled. At least, she smiled up until a rather shameful and embarrassing thing had been pointed out. She had completely forgotten to give her name. That was the very fundamental building blocks of sociability! Why? How? She wasn't that far gone, was she? And then she retraced what had happened. And then it made sense. When she had been about to try to comment, and return the introduction, that Shadow had appeared. Her mind had completely shoved niceties out of the way. That was embarrassing.
”Ah. That Shadow had. . . appeared, and distracted. . . me. I apolo. . . gize for that.” She slowly nodded before offering a free hand. She wasn't going to squeeze the girl's, for good reason, but it was still an important gesture. ”My name is. . . Nisha Dovickssen. It's a pleasure. . . to make your. . . acquaintance Alouette.” Her cheeks were faintly stained red. ”I'm really. . . sorry to have. . . forgotten that.” She sheepishly nodded.

Alouette was offered a hand to the girl as she seemed rather embarrassed about not giving her name before. It wasn't really her fault given the situation that she was presented with. A-Ah. . . It's fine, really. It had seemed that she had made the girl blush. Well, that wasn't good, given that it made her blush a bit. She attempted to take the hand offered to her as best as she could. Nice to meet you, Nisha. She nodded and then offered a small smile to the girl. It had been a long time since Ally had smiled like that. It was a smile that hadn't been seen since she could talk to her father. I hope to see you again soon. And with that, Ally parted ways with the girl to finally begin the work she had set out to accomplish. Even if there had been some saddening and shocking revelations, she could honestly say that she left in a better mood than when she came.
