Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

He lived a very terrible and dangerous and it was exactly what he wanted. He was sane. She blinked a few times, wondering if she should run away since he clearly wanted to get in fights. The thing was, he wasn't that dangerous. She had been around him at least thirty minutes now without a bat to the back of her stole or any evil kidnapping ploys. He was the stereotypical bad boy people talked about? It didn't seem smart to live that type of lifestyle. "Sounds all rather stupid," she mumbled to herself as she cuffed her chin. All rather stupid.
He proclaimed he was doing a community service by putting out ruffians before they hurt people who weren't rough. That seemed really good. She had also seen him give crazy looks to a man that was just going to work standing beside him. "I suppose that's somewhat a good deed mixed with several bad deeds," she replied trying to think it over. Then again, didn't the bad deeds outweigh the good parts? She wasn't sure. Fighting was all very bad and she didn't condone it. "You still shouldn't be doing that, especially being so out of shape. Weak people might be picking on you, but one day someone strong might hurt you."
Stupid? That struck a nerve with him and his nostrils flared like a bull. Did she just call him stupid? He balled his fists at his sides and had the sudden urge to punch her in the face but kept from doing so. The last thing he needed was beat a minor and have that on his record and the fact that he was going around punching girls in the faces. Why the hell was she calling him stupid? Just because he has gotten jumped while out sometimes? It isn’t like he purposely goes out looking for fights or even picks them. People were simply jerks and he made sure to put them in their place.
”Y’know what?” He pointed his finger at her in clear aggravation, he wracked his brain for some sort of insult or something to throw in her face. It took him longer than intended to figure out what he wanted to say that wasn’t just pure anger talking, ”Whatever. If someone stronger comes up then I’ll just fight harder. And when you get jumped, I’ll be sure not to be around to beat the piss outta them since it’s so friggin’ stupid by y’standards.” He threw his hands up in the air and turned away from her. What the hell was he trying to prove anyway, she was just some nameless girl whom thought he was out of shape. So what? It’s not like her opinion mattered any.
”So jus’ go… run until y’have a heart attack or sumthin’ then we’ll see who’s stupid.” He was already walking away by the time he finished his statement. He needed to go get paints anyway and was in serious need of a long session of angry painting and metal music, This is exactly why he didn’t deal with people normally because people were just plain… assholes.

He got mad and she just blinked at him confused. Why was he getting upset? Minako retraced her steps as she tried to think of something she said or did to make him angry. She really couldn't think of anything. He was staring at her with a red face and pointing at her like the girls in tennis club did when they were going to hurt her feelings. Her lips turned into a frown as her arms wrapped around her body like they could protect her from harsh words. The next thing that came out of his mouth wasn't that painful though. He didn't call her stupid, ugly, useless, or rude. He didn't claim nobody would ever like her or point out she had no friends. He just said he wouldn't protect her, which seemed pretty logical. Her arms feel back to her side as she exhaled in relief.
"Okay. If I get attacked, I won't hope you come to save me. I'll protect myself."
It seemed like a rather logical idea. They didn't know each other's names. They weren't friends. And they didn't go outside around the same time since he claimed he liked to be sleeping right now. If something were to ever happen, she would have to hold up her own. Minako wasn't an expert at fighting, but she was sure she'd be fine. She could run away so things didn't seem to scary.
He reminded her that she needed to be running. Her eyes widened. "Oh right! I need to finish. It was, uh, nice to meet you?" she said confused. He wasn't looking at her! Crap! She ran in front of the boy to stop him. "It was nice meeting you," she said again formally as she offered him a bow. "Have a nice day." She finally stood up and looked at him. He was probably going to get some sleep, but it was still proper to wish him a good day. She ran off in the opposite direction so she could get home. It was going to be thirty minutes later than she usually got home so she couldn't run backwards. Tomorrow, she might need to run backwards the whole time to make up for today.
