Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Attacks continued to ram into the printer. Both the fire and bullets did normal damage, as before. However, the one that had been attacking it up close backed off and healed the group. So they did have a healer, it seemed. Focusing on a single target could have worked, but any of the group could have intercepted its attacks and spread the damage out, letting the party-healing move take care of the rest. If that was the case, perhaps it could have entered a match of attrition, slowly wearing the group as a whole down with its attacks? It was a slim hope. Really, the Shadow just wanted to rest.
Leveling its tray, the printer began to spew shrapnel-like blades, using the cables to turn itself around while firing the barrage. The attack hit the party for moderate Slash-based damage! If it ended up being healed by the healer, then the Shadow would just have to go down its skill set. It really hoped it would end soon.
For about the first time in recorded history, though neither of them knew it, a printer and a human being shared a thought. Takeda wanted the battle to be over as soon as possible from the look of his anguish ridden face, whilst most of his blood added a nice little bit of color to the drab office building's lackluster interior. Bullets, fire, darkness, electricity, hell, everything that the little rag-tag group had just seemed to be doing the equivalent of chip damage to the printer's exterior, and the light was fading fast for the red haired asian who had taken the brunt of the attack. Wait. No it wasn't. The faint glow of Dave's healing spell had him confused for a moment before it slammed into his chest and patched up some of the nastier bits of the wounds, healing almost automatically. Though it still hurt like a bitch, Takeda was more than willing to deliver it back to the printer...could printers feel pain? Fuck, that's one hell of a conundrum given the circumstances. Nevertheless, he stopped hunching over, picking himself up a bit before...oh god dammit. Blades had hit everyone in the group the very moment that he had picked himself up, this time, knicking his left arm something fierce. Anger had been pulsing through Takeda's veins nearly the whole time, and seeing another bit of metal slash open not only his arm, but his brand new jacket rather than the unzipped portion? That was it. Clutching the wound in pain, Takeda gritted his teeth and moved his hand up in a gesture to guide Faust, as the spirit let loose with another wicked fireball square into the thing's side this time. Bullets? Takeda knew better than to use the old 9mm pistol when he had a giant fucking fireball readied, bullets wouldn't be viable for a long, long time. Standing there after the successful hit, Takeda looked over his shoulder at his allies. Dave had done well healing them, and Vice was blasting away at the printer...winning strategy so far, since they couldn't find out the thing's weakness. Turning his head back to the printer, he spoke back to them.
Well, shouting apparently worked well enough. Vice was just glad that he didn't have to go there himself to beat the living shit out of Dave in an effort to get him back to his senses. In other news though, a flying piece of pain was hurling through the distance between Vice and the evil printer of doom and as luck would have it, there was absolutely nothing the red eyed asian could do to block or dodge it.
It didn't mean he couldn't try.
The attack connected, harshly still, but it was better than getting a limb cut off. In return of his heroic deeds of trying to survive this hell of a battle, Vice was rewarded with enough pain to send him sprawling to the ground. Splatters of red and rivulets of the same life liquid came from the nasty wound he had sustained along his leg. At its current condition, well, Vice could try standing up and moving the hell around but that would take too long.
Gritting his teeth through the pain, and making sure his focus didn't waver despite the steady blood loss on him, Vice continued on harassing the machine with his own brand of lead. Not that it did much but hey, it was better than getting your attacks absorbed and subsequently adding more life to the should have been lifeless printer.

It was starting to get a bit stupid and that wasn't a good sign. The last time things had gotten stupid, Dave had ended up passed out while Takeda and Seiji were dying of poison. If the printer somehow managed to poison them, then that was it. Game over, man. Game over.
While the printer did not launch some vicious poison attack which will probably happen soon because Eri will have more fun, it did decide that attacking all three of them at once was a good course of action. That wasn't fair. Granted, shadows never played fair. But then again, Dave was using group heal spells.
The shard of deadly paper shot out towards Dave and he tried flinging himself to the side. The sheet slashed through both of his now airborne legs, sending him spinning in the air before hitting the ground. Well... it was nothing compared to the Junior Research Paper. Still, he had tried his best to dodge and that was what counted. Only it didn't because his legs hurt a lot now. Like, a lot.
He summoned Shimon once again, realizing that he would have to mix up his strategies. Clearly if he stood by and didn't change tactics, the printer would eventually outsmart them all. He summoned forth his mental energy, bringing Shimon to bear and... cast Media.
Dave had considered casting Hamaon instead, but he chickened out last second. Plus, Takeda and Vice might die if he did. Still, despite how important healing people is, it kind of draws away from the feeling of importance when nothing you have done during the fight has made the slightest bit of difference in damaging the monster. But, there was no choice. Takeda had a healing spell, but it was probably still the one that worked on a single person.
Dave sighed as the green light healed the deep cuts in his legs, allowing him to stand up properly again. The printer didn't have a good strategy, come to think of it. If it started using the crowd attacks, Dave could easily counter with a crowd heal. He had the healing trinket with him, so his spells would do a lot in negating any damage the printer did. Meanwhile, the printer would slowly be suffering damage until it was defeated.

The printer continued to take the attacks. Fire and lead, the cornerstones of earlier civilizations, continued to pelt it. He wasn't going to take much more. Only a little more and it'd be time to Punch Out. At that point, it would end. It would be able to rest and meet its friends again. It would soon be able to truly hibernate. But these humans needed to pay. It couldn't just go off to meet its friends like that. It had to offer them something for being unable to assist them in their time of need. Soon. Very soon.
The tray of the printer opened up, revealing the inner gears, coated in blackness. Then, a number of the pieces flew out towards the humans, hitting each member of the team, twice, for minor Strike-based damage! Afterward, the lights on the printer began to blink just a little. The time was quickly approaching.
Now, far be it from us to question the modus operandi of a possessed demonic printer, but throughout the entirety of the fight, it appeared as if the office equipment had just been going through a check-list of moves, which was pretty much what the intrepid band of misfits had been doing too. Electricity, darkness, fire, bullets, nothing seemed to really phase the printer as much as one would hope. While the thought of dunking the damned thing in some water occurred to Takeda, though it was unlikely to happen, he found himself struck outright by gears the printer had just thrown out from the horrid black mass that comprised it's innards. Expecting another vicious beating like the one he had taken before, Takeda braced himself for the impact ahead of time, since the thing had proved that dodging, and jumping, was useless...
Tink
Well that was underwhelming as fuck. While the gear did hurt like a bitch when it smacked up against Takeda's cheek, the red haired asian stood there for a moment, just kind of brushing his cheek whilst looking at the printer with a puzzled expression. The anger had kind of subsided the moment that he had been smacked with what at this point would just leave a bruise. If the thing had indeed been going through a list, maybe this was some weird reverse order bullshit implemented before the quarantine...or it was fucking with them. Either way. Takeda stood up tall and took aim whilst speaking to the others aloud, "Whitey, Biker guy, this thing's gonna hit us with somethin' big soon, get ready for it!" Logic did have it's way of working into Takeda's head...now that he wasn't extremely pissed over getting sliced up like ham, it seemed like the printer was going to go down the list, softening them up for a larger hit. With his pistol raised, he aimed a shot carefully for the printer's tray, hoping for the bullet to somehow hit the innards. A loud shot resounded throughout the entirety of the building, as his bullet slammed up against the thing. A horrible pun involving paper jams crossed his mind. He kept that to himself.
The attacks that had flown from the thing's innards wasn't quite as destructive as the last few ones had been. Still, the strike damage that had connected with the aching civilian's chest wasn't anything he could scoff at. Not to mention the second time it had connected with him, the gears had dealt a bit more damage than the last.
Trying his best not to succumb to the increasing amount of pain, being healed or not, Vice scrambled for his revolver again and made sure to aim properly this time. Following his red head teammate's lead with where to shoot, the young graduate raised the firearm in his hand and closed an eye to focus more on the allotted opening.
A bang exploded from the barrel of his weapon and the lead bullets flew straight at their target.

A gear smacked him straight in the face. That seemed to be happening a lot whenever he faced psychotic machinery. Another gear smacked him in the face. Cool. He supposed that the things was technically flinging its guts at them. Surely, that must mean that it was weakening itself by using the attack, even if it wasn't really doing much. All Dave could really feel in response to the attack was a stinging head. The gears had broken skin, and a little bit of blood was flowing. But it wasn't serious. Dave had Shimon use Media again. He might as well use this lull in battle to try and push everyone's endurance as high as possible.

The attacks continued, and the printer had finished its preparations. It had performed its job to the best of its potential. It would soon meet its friends again, it believed. No longer would it be constrained by the burden that existing in that place brought on. The printer began to glow. Energy welled up from within it, shining through its dark exterior. Its job was done. If it took the humans with it, then that was better. Of course, even if it met its friends again, alone, they would forgive it. The printer knew that much. The energy flashed, then surged forth.
It was time for the printer to Punch Out.
The printer exploded! The blast of energy would hit the party for moderate Almighty damage!
Congratulations! You survived. Below are your rewards.
