It was difficult to tell the time when one was outside of the city. There was no star in the sky to dictate the time of day, machinery often didn't work out the way one would want to, and anything else that could potentially tell the time was more or less skewed. The fog around them also made it hard to concentrate into one's own body clock to try and check just how much time had elapsed. To be safe, it was more or less agreed upon that people were supposed to meet in the city first before heading out but today's circumstances had been different. By different, Vice had meant that there was a commotion by the terminal and there were several witnesses lingering about when he had crossed over. Staying there for too long and entering the pathway with someone could have simply damaged the chances of getting by unnoticed. So instead, the biker did what he could do and scrolled down through his phone contacts before leaving the city and sent a message to Isolde.
She had agreed to help him out with his projects and this was more or less him calling out for her services in this field. Every chance he had gotten so far to observe a persona user in acton was when he was too busy trying to survive as well that it became rather difficult to pay the utmost amount of attention that he could whenever they summoned their imaginary friend. Having told the woman who believed herself to be of actual royalty where he was going to be and where he had planned to go, Vice had opted to stay by an area that could have been considered safe. There were no shadows around and the piles of junk around them made it well enough that he'd at least have something to distract a horde if they ever appeared.
Sitting upon a concrete block whose back had several steel rods jutting out of it haphazardly, Vice fiddled with the zipper of his biker jacket in an attempt to kill some time in between scoping the place out and waiting for Isolde to arrive. His revolver and swords were settled next to him and was within easy reach should something happen. He also had with him a bag that carried some medicine, food, water, and a spare change of clothes in case anything happened. Had to be prepared for everything after all.
