Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
"Can never really assume that you're the only one these days and judging from your surprise, I'm pretty sure that some of the younger ones could wipe the floor with what you consider as difficult. With that said, I'm sure you can imagine just how terrifying the full moons are nowadays."
And another one of these information dumps was slowly beginning again. next thing Vice knew he'd be dealing with teaching an entire class of newly awakened users on the dos and donts when facing an eldritch abomination in the form of shadows. "For the lack of a better explanation, yes the shadow had appeared within the school areas. Of course, the battle had also ensued there along with the hard earned demise of the enemy." Shaking his head and reaching his hand over towards the old man in a 'gimme' motion, Vice asked:

So he wanted a drink? "aren't you a bit young to be drinking this stuff" He handed a bottle to Vice in spite of what he just said. "I'm kidding, from what i'm hearing here you have been needing a drink for the past month or so. Now drink it sowly you hear. This stuff's expensive." He leaned back with another bottle in his hand. "How long do you think this whole lockdown facade is going to last before the entire city finds out?" He said as he took a sip from the bottle.
"Heh." Jokes and all, Vice was pretty sure that he got enough of those remarks from the uppity ups of society. Thankfully, the old man didn't bother being a douche bag to him and handed him over the liquor. A quick swig from the bottle, and the burning ensued. All in all, the biker felt pretty good with it. "Thanks, old man. And if I were to be honest? It's never gonna be lifted until we do something about it."
He pointed towards a general direction and indicating whatever the hell was there was being guarded by the military and whatnot. "I don't trust them--the military 'housing' us. Their excuse was that the outside was a hazard due to some biological bullshit. We've been there, and even if it was a hazard, it was completely different from what they told us." Another swig and Vice returned the bottle.

John heavily agreed with Vice's point of view, he too disagreed with the way the so called 'military' was handling things. "You know, the military doesn't seem all that competent at keeping us inside considering we can both just march out there without incident." He did not believe the people responsible for the lockdown had the citizens best interest at heart. In fact, it was safe to assume the military had some connection to the shadows. And if they had, then why had John never seen any military activity out there. "You know, I think the military is in on the whole deal, after all. Have you ever seen any kind of organized figthing by those soldiers out there, because I haven't so far."
"Others may say that they're not fool hardy enough to simply send 1 or 2 men out, specially if they haven't woken up yet. Others say that they're shadows themselves with how they've been treating the containment." Vice shook his head in disappointment. "In either case, they're not a reliable source of anything positive, that much the others have managed to come up with."
The young man then stretched out his legs, and stood up before shaking his ankles a bit to get some feeling in them again. "That said, all we can really do is prepare. I'm pretty sure that you've managed to amass some cash from having been out there, old man, but I'm pretty sure that some of your Military Grade equipment wouldn't be good enough to stand up against their attacks." Crossing his arms further before stretching them out, the young man finally got some of the kinks out as he returned them to his pockets. "Laharl's smithy, I'm sure you know him, he's got quite a bit of stuff with him. Might help you out in the case that your persona isn't of much help."

Military grade equipment? That might have been accurate about fifty years ago back when the stuff he had in the closet back at home was still top of the line. He was pretty sure some civilian firearms were capable of outperforming his current weaponry. It did seem like quite a good suggestion to go to the arms dealer one of these days. "Yeah, I think I might just check it out. I'm pretty sure my current gun is only functioning by virtue of duct tape at this point."
Although John enjoyed Vice's company, he was starting to consider going home. After all, he could always meet the biker later if he wanted to talk to him again. "Hey Vice, It's been good fun talking to you, but I think it's about time I go home. If you want to meet me later, I'm probably going to be around the Shakespeare & co bookstore a lot for the coming days." He packed up his bottles and stood up, preparing to begin the walk back to his appartment.
"Hey man, duct tape's what keeps the world together." Vice slightly grinned. "Don't take it lightly." Having already stood up before the old man had decided to prepare going home, Vice simply leaned back on the wall behind him to wait out Johnson's procedure. Not long after that, the old man was more or less geared up to go home wherever the hell it is he's been staying.
"You too man, and I'll see ya around." Walking along with the old man towards the exit of the alleyway, the younger user hastened his pace just a bit when his vehicle had finally come into view. He wasn't going to brag about how awesome his bike was to the war veteran…if he didn't ask. Needless to say, the moment the guy asked then all hands were down.
