Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Shirako stepped through another doorway. The higher she reached in that building, the more annoying the floors became. Rubble blocked some passageways. Some halls were entirely incapable of being passed due to large holes in the floor. Occasionally, the Shadow traffic was simply too heavy. There was no way of getting through without drawing undesirable attention to herself. Because of all these issues, the woman found herself constantly backtracking. Others could deal with the bulk of Shadows. She just needed to find individual ones, after all. The woman in black let out a quiet sigh. Her options were dwindling down to nothing on this floor. A little more, and she'd be forced to head down, find another route to the floor, and hope the passage further up wasn't blocked.

A giant of stone slid across the carpet, attempting to creep towards the woman. That was all well and good, but, despite the miracle of the floor not giving way, the floor and walls both creaked due to the Shadow's weight. If that wasn't enough, then the fact that its shadow, due to the lighting, had effectively overcome her own, also gave it away. Regardless, the woman drew her blade, pivoted on her heel, and took up a stance while summoning Yaksa. The entity used Getsu-ei. The damage inflicted seemed to be pretty nasty. Another one weak to Slash, then? Either way, the Shadow, having lost the element of surprise, tried to charge itself for a powerful attack. The woman stepped in and slashed down the front of the Shadow. Despite its stony appearance, the sword ripped through it like paper, causing the stony chest to crack and produce a bit of dust. Immediately following her slash, Yaksa cut in and twirled, unleashing another Getsu-ei. The duo stepped back as the giant slid forward. Down came a tremendously slash, but the woman saw no threat.
Instead of attempting evasion, she readied her blade once more. The Shadow's massive sword bounced off of her harmlessly. She stepped in and swung down forcefully. The first time had caused some nasty damage. The two Getsu-ei's had caused some solid damage, as well. But this final slash? It finished the deal. The giant crumbled into nothing.
