Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Sentient Shadows... Come to think of it, I flashed back quickly to the conversation she had with Pyxis the other night. She mentioned that there were more intelligent Shadows that were self-aware and potentially capable of speech. She also recounted her experience online with what could have been a Shadow with a human form, or at least human behavior. Yes, this would be something that she would have to look into. And if Ran had dirt on them, she would need to get on this opportunity so she could share information with Pyxis and potentially others. However, Ran didn't tell me more about it, but that was all I needed to seal the deal. Looking good in the uniform be damned, I'd need to get to the bottom of this.
Though, was Ran... uh, undressing me with her eyes or something? That was quite an intense look... Anyway... "I see, I'll be glad to cooperate with you then in this endeavour. After all, I have a need to investigate deeper into these sentient Shadows, and if there are some in the school, I'll be more than happy to look into the matter not just for you, but for my own curiosity as well. We can take care of the further details at a more opportune time, but keep me updated on this."

And so the boy received a positive response. This day, upon which he had absolutely nothing important planned, had turned to be quite profitable. Sure, he spent money on unnecessary things, but, in the process, he had gotten an interesting new toy, not to mention another willing and capable partner for his own advances. Luka was a help in school and a help in battle, but he wasn't going to rely on her for spying on a guy with anger issues and a turtle-neck. Alisa? Alisa at least had this sort of work as a job. More than that, she would, hopefully, know how to remain undetected.
Hopefully the new clothes would help with that.
”Of course. I have a bit of groundwork done already, but the finer things are something I'd like to leave to someone with that sort of experience.” The boy just nodded to himself at that point, letting his gaze trail away. ”Given that that event is coming up, we should wait until after the battle is good and done with. Maybe another day or two to rest. But, soon after the full moon, we could meet again and take care of that.” He smiled before shifting his load and retrieving his- “Ran's”- phone. ”That said, despite out numerous encounters, we never did share contact information. Given that we'll be exchanging information regularly following this, it'd be wise to finally rectify that minor issue.” With that, he just looked to the woman with a grin, awaiting the presence of a phone for the first of several exchanges to occur.

"Okay, then I suppose that is settled," I simply nodded and said slowly as I fidgeted, got out my phone to punch in Ran's contact details and continued on. "Yeah, here, my details are on my phone so please get them." I figured if I had to investigate someone who was part of the school either as a student or as faculty, I would need to get my stealth training back in gear. That would prove to be very useful. At the same time, I might find other students I recognize and could potentially get more information out of them as well. Hopefully this would be the start of better things to come, considering that I still remember the two of us had initially started on quite a bit of a bad footing, but I believe things will change soon enough. This would certainly shape up to be something rather... interesting.

And, with that, the toy was now in his box. Some people were just so easy to toy with. Surprisingly, Alisa would be one. He wondered how often this woman could blush- how badly she could blush, when pressed on. To what extent was her breaking point? Was he a bad person? Maybe, if viewed under certain lights. However, in his heart, he believed he was just pushing people towards healthier, more lively lifestyles. Even if this did also present great amounts of entertainment for him. With a slight nod, the crossdresser just smiled, putting his phone away. There was certainly much to be done, but, for now, all was good.
”Well then. With all of this settled, let's get this paid for. We can then go our separate ways. Or go eat more.” The boy shrugged and carried the uniform along with him before pausing. ”Unless you would prefer the male uniform?” He jokingly asked over his shoulder.

"Woah, woah, hold it there," I said, fidgeting profusely and once again maintaining my blush. "I'm sure I'd totally look fabulous in the male uniform, but uh... I think it would be better for me if we stuck with the girl's uniform. I'll find it a little awkward for my investigation when the time comes if I came in the boy's... Well, I'm sure we can have some costume fun another time." I coughed and fidgeted again. Uh, yeah! I didn't think she would be serious about it, but there you go! That's a wrap. Guess we would go pay for the stuff now. "Right, right... That's settled indeed, now." I finished, heaving with a sigh to try and calm myself down. I was still a little spastic after that sudden jab at her's. I couldn't tell if she was joking or if she was actually serious, but from her tone, she was probably joking.

The boy froze. Something terrible happened. This woman. This woman. This woman. This woman. Holy hell, this woman. Did she even understand what the hell spewed from her lips?! Awkward? Came? Boy's? If she preceded boy's with “in”, then it must have been the boys' bathroom. Holy hell. His mind went crazy. He hadn't even considered that. Picturing her, in a stall, doing that while boys were out minding their own business?! Just. What. No. No, no, no. Was this the second coming of Kurokawa Rukako?! His head was pounding. He needed something to headbutt. A wall would be nice. A stone wall would be excellent. Either way, the boy stood straight. He then slowly nodded. “Parting” certainly did have its merits. His pulse picked up. It wasn't the only thing that did, though the other was kept under control. He just. . . needed to stay calm.
”Yep! You can always come for more sets later, if needed.” He casually responded, smiling faintly. After paying for the goods, he left them with Alisa and offered a wave.
Then proceeded to find a hard wall to have his head become intimate with.

I nodded wordlessly once Ran had paid for the goods, shoved them over to me and waved. She left after saying I could come here for more sets at a later point. I guess I could if I needed it for some investigation or for some undercover work, but Ran's faint smile suggested that I said something wrong. Was she alright? Did I really say something wrong? All I just said was I thought it'd be awkward if I went to the school in a boy's uniform... Er... I guess she must have gotten something from the statement that I didn't. Oh well! I yelled out my thanks to Ran as she left and I went off on my way back home so I could organize these clothes properly and fatten up my wardrobe a little. It was certainly a day. A day alright... Not to mention that the battle was coming up soon. Hoo boy.
