"That's enough for now. Go take a break, Kid."
The burly voice of the middle aged man rang out as the whirring of the machinery used for segmenting the parts began to slow down to a stop. Soon enough, the main source of noise in the small workshop began to give way to the less than amazing chorus of tinkering and grunts that came from under one of the vehicles that was currently under repair. Underneath a yellow sedan, its colour noticeably aged with dents and blotches of rust here and there, was a mechanic who was struggling to reach for the proper wrench that had just been out of his reach. It wasn't like he could just let go of the part, that would defeat the purpose of what he was doing.
"Goddamnit Kid, I know you're trying hard to get our rep up but you're killing yourself at this rate."
The irritated but well meant tone meant that Vincent better stop screwing around and get his shit done. Evident when the tool he was reaching for was conveniently nudged his way by the thicker male's boot. A few more moments under the car and the mechanic finally pushed himself away from underneath the thing and rolled to a stop just to see a face not unlike a pit bull whenever it seemed to pout.
"Let it go, Old man. I'm like, the only guy who works here aside from you so just let me do my job." The self confident voice continued as the under cover Android stood up. Trying to wipe off the oil stains on his arms off on his shirt, to no avail mind you, Vincent just decided to screw it and crossed his arms over his chest. Apparently the old man still had something to say and just as he was about to, decided to drop it but not before muttering something along the lines of 'that's what I'm trying to do.' It was pretty much routing for duo by now and Vincent had long since learned to accept it.
Heading out of the work place for a bit, the black haired Android decided to get some fresh air after being cooped up underneath the machine for so long. Not that it really did anything for him, but it helped keep up the charade with the only person to have bothered hiring him for something he supposed he liked doing. He felt somewhat bad doing it, but it was for a greater good he told himself. Scratching his scalp in a rather human-like way, the Mechanic wondered if anything would happen today.
Another customer would be pretty great to be honest.
