Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

You continue to run away from the beetle up the long pathway. Luckily, with a few collapses and blocks, you are able to gain a considerable distance from the the beetle before losing it. You escaped it, but the thing still seems to be alive down there somewhere. Is it really okay to leave that thing for now? Questions for later probably. Right now, its reward time.
Mission accomplished!
You received your reward: 2,000 FP and a Tier 2 Accessory of Choice

The run had been relatively long, but the woman's body managed to keep itself going. Of course it did. It was running off of willpower. That was the only thing that had really kept it going in the last few years, after all. All the same, once they lost the gigantic beetle and made it topside, the woman took a few good moments to wind down and eventually come to complete halt. Regulating her breathing, she gradually slowed her pulse. It was a slow process. She hadn't really planned on encountering something like that. Chalk it up to negligence on her part. Again. She needed to be prepared for anything, no matter how ridiculous. With Shadows, that was an issue of ever-growing difficulty.
”Good job. We're done. Let's wrap it up.” She noted to the others with a nod before carrying on in the direction of the Gap. It was time to cash out on that mission. Despite the peril they had just faced, she was completely fine, outside of regulating her breathing. It wasn't the first time she had encountered something. . . absurd. Even if she never had seen a Shadow beetle that big.

Running, running, running man. Or woman, as it seemed to be in this situation. I had been trained to go the extra mile so this was probably just as intensive as a workout session or something. Eventually, after Luka pulled some shenanigans - I didn't turn back to check what exactly - we lost the damnable beetle. Once we made it out after that, I did my usual cooldown routine, treating the exercise as if it were just that, an exercise. My breathing regulated and I felt calmer again, at ease. Running and running was something I had grown pretty used to, evidently.
Shirako spoke though, saying that we were done. "Alright, you're the boss," I said casually as I also followed suit, wondering what was it with me and meeting people who were just... not that talkative. Talking was good once in a while, woman. Though, something about her just... felt strange. Like she seemed to carry herself in such a way that suggested she had been in this business of dealing with Shadows for a long time now. Maybe she was just tired of it all. I don't know. I didn't need to know. It wasn't my business, anyway.
