Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Another evening, another venture into the executive building. Something kept drawing her back here, for lack of a better way of expressing things. It was a mix of curiosity, determination to improve through combat and boredom. Yes, boredom. Once upon a time she'd alleviate her boredom through video games and movies and the like - through normal stuff.
Now she more often than not found herself drawn to pick up her hammer and venture out into the Shadowlands in order to get some work done. Whether it was a mission, training, salvage or just working out. She was starting to get worried with herself. The abandoned executive building exercised a peculiar allure on her for some weird reason. With that mind she wandered in there again, climbing all the way to the upper floors and sighed, wondering what it would have in store for her today.

There they were, a buncha Shadows on her tush. She was expecting them, to be honest, even somewhat looking forward to their appearance. She pulled her hammer out and summoned Hypatia, who appeared in a flash of light, ready for combat.
She dived at the Shadows, striking out at them with a powerful spear assault, throwing it skywards and resulting in a hailstorm of energy shards raining down on them. They didn't appear to be unduly concerned and reeled back, just for the Hand-type to blast her with a massive pillar of fire...
...which did nothing.
Phoebe powered through the blast and swung her hammer at the Hand, knocking it into the air and against the back wall. She was blindsided by a dark spell from the Book type and cussed before turning on it and giving it a good whack with her hammer. It bounced on the floor and tumbled backwards, by which time the Hand had gotten up and struck out at her with a slapping motion.
The kinetic energy bounced off Hypatia's shield and back at the Hand, knocking it backwards and killing it with its own blow. Phoebe nodded sharply and turned her attention on the Book. She willed a fire attack and the fiery explosions knocked it onto the ground once more, where she finished it with a hard hit of her hammer.
Another evening, another battle won.
