Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Compared to the chaos that had been the full moon battle, the executive building now felt downright... peaceful. It was certainly more quiet than other places and she liked that.
She climbed up the stairs slowly and stopped at a floor she'd been exploring last week. She wandered into an old travel agency. It was kinda sad. Now more than ever she longed to travel again but of course, she was trapped here. She bent over a desk to rifle through it for anything remotely useful. She glanced up and saw a fading poster on the wall over the desk. She frowned. It advertized holidays in Greece. That poster hit her like a wrench to the stomach. It reminded her painfully of... home and family. She had grown up in the USA but spent enough time in Greece to love the country and associate it with home. She missed the hot sun and salty sea-breezes. She missed the language and the smell of pine.
She grew homesick but painfully aware she was locked in a cage of misery. She grit her teeth. All the more reason to try and fight her way out... assuming it could be done and she could find the motivation to do so.
"Now where's a Shadow when you need it," she muttered, needing to vent.

The sensation of being attacked was what got her attention first. A surge of energy and then every molecule of air exploding. Phoebe was thrown to the floor, just as Hypatia materialized and covered her with her shield - Rakukaja had taken effect and softened the blow but it still hurt like hell. It was that damnable spell that she'd experience before.
"Damn it," Phoebe groaned and stood up. "Hypatia, get it -- Arrow Rain!"
Wait, that's new. Myriad Arrows was gone - or rather, it was stronger now. Hypatia dropped into a stance, her spear glowing brightly. She threw it straight up and mid-flight the spear exploded into a hailstorm of arrow-like shards of energy that rained down with even more ferocity than before. In fact, the force was so much that the little space they'd been in was all but annihilated. The Shadow slumped from the repeated impacts but spread its arms at her and Phoebe was assaulted by a strange red light and felt distinctly like something had been ripped from her. She felt infuriated.
"Zionga!"
The bolt of lightning seemed to stagger the damned thing but not by much. Phoebe gave up trying to pinpoint a weakness and attacked it directly with her hammer before it could drop another one of those bigass spells on her. Her hammer smashed against the Shadow's mask and sent it sliding backwards, just to have it cast that abominable life-sucking spell again -- because Phoebe was sure that's what it was. She growled and Hypatia blasted it with another lightning bolt before Phoebe got in there and hammered it one more time.
Still it wouldn't die. Phoebe glared but this time, she was either lucky, or very nimble because when that Megidolaon went off, she actually managed to dodge it. Whether it was a genuine dodge on her part or a monumental miss from the Shadow's part, she didn't care. She got in there and swung her hammer again, sending the Shadow flying against the wall where it exploded into bits of darkness that evaporated slowly.
