Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
There was a book in which its presence alone could spell doom. It appeared to be weak to slash attacks, so it'll be a little easy had it not wielded a powerful fire spell. "Slash away at the book." she spoke to the masked queen next to her as Artemisia released a wave of black energy which slashed at the book for major damage. The book released a very large flame toward her which dealt severe damage and gave her a severe burn across her arm. Despite the crippling weakness to fire, she ordered the masked queen to cast another Deathbound as Artemisia released another wave of black energy that slashed at the book for major damage. Again, the book released another gigantic flame at her, burning her torso this time. The burns hurt like a ton of hot rocks thrown at her, but it wasn't enough to keep her down. She ordered the masked queen to cast another Deathbound as Artemisia released another wave of black energy that slashed at the book for major damage. Afterwards, she breathed heavily due to the strain placed on her. Once again, the book released another gigantic flame at her, burning her back. It seemed to be limping which meant that it was dying. She ordered the masked queen to heal her as a green light surrounded her, healing up the burns inflicted by the fire spell. The book unleashed another gigantic flame at her, burning her torso again. Even though she liked books, this pathetic creature had to die for all its worth. Smirking evilly, she signaled the masked woman for another Deathbound at which the queen herself released another wave of black energy which slashed at book in ribbons. As the book weakly tried to get up, it floated down in its last dying pose before its remains dissolved into the air. Having defeated the adversary for the day, she took a few deep breaths, but she still felt sore. Today had been the most interesting day to actually encounter a living book.
