Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Since she had started to feel stronger, Anne had been taking the chance to explore some of the places that had intimidated her before. This car graveyard was one of them. It almost made her sad, seeing all of these beautiful cars left to rot. Even if she had always been more of a two-wheeled fan, she knew some people would have definitely been able to use some of the vehicles that now homed plenty of the creepy-crawlies. Oh well. She had things to kill, there was no use humming and hawing around thinking about dead chunks of metal. Making her way through the abandoned factory, she started to get a chill up her spine. She knew she wasn't alone, that was for sure--and she wasn't just talking about her other half.

Sure enough, there they were. There were three again this time, but much scarier looking than the three blobs she saw before. One, a woman on an upside down car sitting with her legs crossed and a mask on her face; another one that looked like a Volkswagen Beetle turned… actual beetle. It had the whole shebang--the carapace, antennae, wheels, and windshield-like eyes. It would have been funny, had it and it’s friends not been trying to kill her. Finally, the last one looked like, well, a giant die. A giant, single fuzzy die like the pair that would hang from a rear view mirror. What a silly bunch. Too bad they wouldn’t be around for much longer.
As she focused and brought the Cerynitian Hind into existence, the woman on the car focused on Anne. Before she could lift an arm, she was suddenly surrounded by a sheet of freezing wind. It was cold, sure, and stung something fierce--but didn’t hurt terribly. Grinning, she cracked her knuckles, charging in and jumping up onto the strange platform the woman had made for herself.
Even under the mask the shadow seemed indignant, but it was short lived as Anne thrust forward with the right heel of her hand, then jabbed with her left, before finally kicking her and jumping back off the platform. Gesturing to the Hind and waving forward as she landed, the Cerynitian Hind spun the blades in her hand before throwing them both at the woman, going straight through her as she disappeared. Two more.
As she turned, she was met with two bursts of flame. Anne tried to pull her arms up to defend herself, but it hurt. It hurt much, much more than the ice she had met with earlier. Gasping for air, she scowled at the two who still remained. So much for thinking they were funny--it just figured they had firepower.
From what she had learned so far, if they used fire… “Cery, Bufu!” Holding her hand out at the larger beetle-car, the Hind’s eyes glowed blue as she clenched her fist. It hit, and sure enough, the huge silly looking bugger poofed away. Smiling, she turned to the last one, “Once more, Bufu!” Again the deer-skull masked woman clenched her fist, but this time, the Die seemed to frost over--but shake it off. Anne’s eyes widened, as it spun in the air, and she braced herself for more fire. This time, however, she was met with another cold wind. She felt frosted again, and it stung like hell, but at the very least it seemed to cool the previous burn.
Taking as deep a breath she could, she pushed forward, hitting as hard as she could as fast as she could. Apparently, that was the trick to this bugger. Before long, the last one was finally nothing but smoke through her fingers. Collapsing for a second to catch her breath, she waved the Hind away, quietly thanking her for the help. Finally, after gathering her strength she got back up and started the long quiet walk home. That was enough for one night.
