Layla lives in a single person apartment on the ground floor of the apartment complex, consisting of a bedroom, bathroom, and living area with attached kitchen. One wall of the bedroom is entirely occupied by bookshelves containing many books in multiple languages. Her bed sits on the opposite side of the room, while in between them is a desk with a desktop computer Layla built herself...with instruction from a few friends from home. Most of her belongings are left under or around her bed, save for what clothes can fit in the chest of drawers against the wall of the foot of the bed or one of the apartment's two closets. The other closet, in the living room, contains Kalaripayattu gear, including her numerous training weapons. The living room itself contains a couple of couches, a coffee table, and a TV, all of which are on the edges of the room to leave plenty of floor space. The kitchen is mostly stocked with microwaveable and easy to prepare meals, because while Layla has more or less learned to cook on her own, she's still more comfortable with things she can't screw up for day to day meals.
Stash:
-Ice Resist mod: "Supposedly, I can apply this to an armor and it'll make me resistant to cold. While that's a comforting thought since I'm from a much warmer client...I don't have any armor."
-Amrita Soda: "A can of soda I found in the outer circle, named after an elixir that granted immortality to the gods. I'm not sure if the reference was intentional or not. It may just be named after the skill, and be able to cure ailments, but considering where it came from, I'm also not sure if it's safe to drink."
-Medical Powder x4: "'Apply directly to the affected area to numb the pain and speed up the healing process.' Seems sketchy, especially since a shadow was holding it."
-Tier 2 weapon mods x2 (currently unspecified)
Equipment:
Weapon Type: Kalaripayattu Stick Weapons
-Custom Steel Otta [Level 3 strike weapon]: A curved stick shaped like an elephant's tusk, with a knob on the end used for striking vital points. Although a typical otta is wooden, this one was custom designed with a steel tip for heavier, stronger strikes.
Weapon Type: Whips and Flexible Swords
-Training Whip [Level 1 slash weapon]: A training weapon designed to accustom a practitioner to the movement of a whip before they move on to a steel whip or urumi. Not particularly effective in combat.
-Vayavastra [Level 6 slash weapon + Tier 2 Wind mod]: A devastatingly powerful urumi of heavenly origin, blessed by Vayu, the Hindu god of wind.
-Rakuen Kimono [Level 5 armor, currently unmodded]: Very durable armor bought from Alisa. Layla is still unsure of whether or not she looks good in it.
-Paricha [Auto-Sukukaja + Mind Charge accessory]: A small shield used in Kalaripayattu. Insignificant on its own, but during a major battle seems to have gained a blessing that enhances Layla's agility and focuses the mind.
Persona:
A set of notes sits tucked between a couple of books pertaining to Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism. To ordinary people, they would make very little sense, except possibly as a work in progress character for a simplistic tabletop game. Several things are crossed out, with corrections written next to them. As of late, a new page has been added to these old notes, with a different description and cleaner notes with nothing crossed out.
Vajrabhairava ("Frightful Thunderbolt." Alternate name and form of Yamantaka, "Terminator of Death")
Null: Light
Strong: Dark
Weak: Ice
Known Skills:
Thunder Reign
Samsara
Amrita
Mediarahan
Elec Break
Unshaken Will
