Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Recently, it had seemed that a passage had opened up within the cemetery. She had been busy the night of the full moon. Investigating the area after the fact revealed an opening into the depths. Were those the catacombs she had heard about in passing? Interesting, she thought. It might have been disrespectful of the dead, but it was something the young woman believed was tied to the Shadows. If it proved to be nothing, she could apologize when leaving. The giant stepped into the darkness, giving her eyes a moment before pressing into the depths.
As she progressed, she could tell that something was wrong. That place certainly did give off the sensations she felt when Shadows were around. Seemed it wasn't just a hunch. There was definitely some substance behind her gut feeling. Letting out a slight sigh, the woman readied her crowbar in her right hand. She rolled her neck, then squatted a couple of times. Got her body nice and limber, or tried anyway. If she took it at a good pace, all would be fine. She was strong, and Shango was protecting her. Whether it was by her crowbar, or by the lightning of her Persona, one way or the other, the enemies would fall.

As the woman passed down a corridor, one of the smaller Shadow “types” appeared. Sounded like there was more right around the corner, too. It noticed her and sludged towards her. Using her superior reach, Nisha swung the crowbar down and smacked its face. Or that was the intent. The hook of the crowbar had embedded itself into the Shadow's mask. In an attempt to extricate the weapon, she tugged the full weight of the Shadow off the ground, swinging it around and into the walls before it finally came loose. The Shadow, squirming, tried to drag itself away before a second swung into its body finished it off.
As that one dissolved, a second appeared. The noise had tipped it off, so it tried firing off a Zio at the girl. Blinking, Nisha stood there for a second. The lightning hit her. It hurt, and all, but it wasn't terrible. The Shadow realized as well, as they sort of just stood there for an awkward moment or two before the giant lunged forward and crowbarred the Shadow. This time, the blow caught the Shadow right behind the mask. It squirmed. It squelched. As Nisha planted her foot down onto the mass to pull her crowbar free, the squiggly arms gripped at her leg weakly. It was very similar to the death-struggle of animals, in some way. Finally, progress was made, and the mask was ripped straight off from the mass, causing it to dissolve on the spot. Two down, it seemed.
The third, already able to see her due to her advancing forward, shot off a burst of fire. Her left sleeve caught on fire due to her covering her face. She focused. That card appeared. With a swing of the crowbar, she shattered it, Shango appearing by her side while she beat the fire out. The taller figure put its hands together. Sparks emanated from its hands. Then, thrusting them forward, it shot bolts of lightning from its hand. The blows weren't enough to finish it, by any means, but it gave the woman time to put her sleeve out. Diving to the side for the next fire blast, she shot forward and slammed the crowbar into the Shadow, pulling and ripping out some of the more liquid-y blackness from inside it. It seemed to “bleed out” before finally dissolving.

Seemed it was, in fact, over. One battle under her belt, no telling how many more. She let out a slight sigh. It was good that her opponents weren't human, but it still bothered her that she used the power to destroy things. Now, yes, it was used to protect others, indirectly, and she was fully aware that Shadows were inherently bad, but it still bothered her. With Shango's presence beside her fading, she put her hands together, crowbar casually situated between both index and middle fingers. She gave them a prayer- that, if there was a true god, if there were second chances, that they could be reborn into a better lot. Whether it was as a human or as an animal was irrelevant. All existences deserved a proper chance at life, even if they were evil or depraved in this life.
Nisha wasn't a religious person, mind you. She was just kind. As she lowered her hands, she nodded and pressed onward. She had taken a little damage, but she'd manage another battle at least. Maybe tw- . . . oh, one of them dropped something. Pocketing it, she pressed on. She could observe the item later, when she wasn't in the dark.
