Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Something had happened at the cemetery recently. It wasn't hard for Alouette to notice it. Looking over it thoroughly one day, she could only guess that it had something to do with those Shadows she had been fighting. Signs of a very large struggle could be easily seen all across the field. Looking towards a nearby mausoleum, she noticed that it was wide open to enter. Had it always been like that? She was getting an odd feeling from it, too. Turning towards it, the girl decided to enter and see what the fuss was about. She had nothing to fear, after all. She was more than armed to deal with anything she knew of.
The inside of the mausoleum was as she had expected. Nothing really interesting. But one thing she did wonder was just how far down the tunnels went. The further she went in, the more she began to question the distance of the place. With a sigh, she decided it was dumb to try and look through these catacombs. There was nothing of interest here, it seemed. Turning around, she began to head back outside. What a waste of time.

As the girl turned around, she noticed something ahead of her. Well, shit. She began to move back into the hall she was going down as she pulled a bomb out of her pocket. She tossed it back towards the enemies coming towards her as she hopped down an entire set of stairs. With the subsequent -boom- that resulted afterwards, Ally pulled out another bomb, a smoke bomb, and ran back into the fray. She tossed it ahead, letting the smoke seep in as she ran through the crowded hallway, past the shadows. She was now on the other side of them and could freely leave should she wish to.
This was -not- what she did.
Despite the smoke, the shadows managed to land a fire attack on her. That really pissed her off. Turning back around, she pulled out a home-cooked grenade and released the pin as she dropped it. Once again, she ran back enough to escape the radius of the kill blast but still within shrapnel range. Again, she ducked to the ground as the grenade exploded. It was time to see how many were left. Waiting for the smoke to clear, the girl saw a single Maya left.
Another fireball was sent out towards her. This time, Ally managed to dodge the attack before chucking another grenade at the fellow. Again she ducked and waited that magical three seconds she had become accustomed to waiting on. Then following that magical noise that seemed to deafen people, the girl looked back with a smirk at the remains of her enemies.

With a smile, the girl brushed off her gloved hands that were undoubtedly covered in dust. So there were shadows down here, huh? Perhaps she should clear this place out before moving onto somewhere else? After all, a shadow infested area inside the city was a much higher threat than the ones that were stuck outside.
Turning back around to the exit, the girl climbed back up the stairs to hopefully exit the catacombs for the day. One fight was enough for now. Rest was probably the best thing for her. All she had taken was a few fireballs, but she had to do plenty of running around. She could also get unlucky and end up fighting something way out of her league. And so she left to fight another day.
