Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

After carefully descending into the depths of the sinkhole, Akira had to take note of one thing: Entering that location was a pain. He had no issues with the location itself. He was actually eager to see what he could find inside. The issue here was the fact that it was such a chore just to enter the place. Why wasn't there some exceedingly convenient magic portal that warped him from the school to there, or something along those lines? There were RPGs that did that. Why couldn't there be one in reality? That would have made travel so much easier and less annoying.
More seriously, though, he was glad that there was no such portal. Nothing would really be stopping Shadows from strolling on into said portal and popping out at the school. Or wherever the other end of the portal was. That would be bad. Unless it was a portal from the bottom of the sinkhole to the top, there was simply too many issues. Still, the boy in drag was making his way into the chambers after the descent. If he was going to do stuff, he would just have to grin and bear it.

Now, when Akira found himself face-to-face with yet another giant, he already knew what to expect. As a huge fist flew at him, he ducked underneath and spread his scissors wide, slicing into the flesh around the titan's wrist as he closed them. It didn't cut deeply enough to remove the hand, but it definitely hurt it. While the titan backed away, the boy used his evoker and called forth Alma Elma. The succubus immediately used Agilao, causing an explosion of fire in the titan's face. A good start, he figured. He charged in, feeling the titan give off a pulse like others had in the past. Typically, physical blows became nastier after that was used. That just gave him a great idea as he spread the scissors wide.
With a meaty “squish” the scissors slammed shut and severed the titan's hand from its arm. The titan backed away, trying to stop the blackness gushing from the wound, but the boy would not allow the Shadow to lick its wounds. Alma Elma immediately flew overhead and whirled, planting the tip of her tail on the top of the Shadow's head. The tip spread open, and flames poured from the three-pronged outlet, singing the Shadow's head for a second time. With major burns and a missing hand, it was obvious that this guy was going to have problems against Akira. The boy in drag was not going to allow himself to be bothered by some asshole with big hands.
Now, an asshole with a huge burst of shiny, unpleasant energy about to go off in a gigantic explosion was another story. It was just like against the Grim Squeaker, weaker only due to the user. The blast sent the boy flying back into a wall. Breath knocked out of him, glasses left uneven, and scissors blown to the side, the boy had certainly taken a blow. He'd been worse off at times, but he could have been in better shape, too. The boy sent the signal to the succubus, and she flew at the Shadow, three-pronged tail almost trying to eat his head before burning it away completely that time. With the head turned the ash, the rest of the body slowly began to dissolve, ending up as a disgusting black puddle of the ground, which slowly faded away as well.

Akira was really not wanting to explore that much after the battle. A Mediarama fixed him up plenty well, sure, but he just had to deal with yet another one of those gigantic-hand assholes that seemed to be so prevalent in the mines. Seemed they were a standard among high-level Shadows, or something- them being assholes, that was. The boy in drag sighed and straightened his glasses. Getting his scissors and checking them for damage, he began to turn around and head back towards the unruly pathway back up to the ground-level of the area. Seriously, this place was going to be extremely annoying. A long pathway both up and down, asshole Shadows, and other annoyances? It was just going to be a wonderful trip to and fro each day he went there.
Suddenly, the idea of a portal was more and more tempting.
