Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Another chance to head into those catacombs that opened up just recently. Ally had been mostly busy scouting the Shadowlands for signs of her father, as well as clues in regard to what was happening in the city. Deciding to make a change of pace, the girl headed into the catacombs once more to clear out some of the "infestation" plaguing its halls.
She had packed some more smoke bombs as well as a few more home-cooked grenades. Among the new additions to her arsenal were some remote detonated explosives that she could set off at will. Kiting a few enemies to a certain location could prove fruitful now. She had everything she would need for a fight. All together there was grenades for normal fights, smoke bombs for making a quick escape, and the trigger-set explosives for those special occasions. She was more than ready for whatever was in these halls.

The halls of the catacombs didn't change much since Ally's last visit. Not that she expected them to, or anything. As she recalled, the girl made quite a mess by letting lose a few grenades in the tunnels. It would likely come to that same conclusion when she encountered another set of shadows to eliminate. Halting in her tracks, the girl listened to whatever was around the corner. Company already? With a smirk, the girl pulled out some of her trigger-detonated explosives. She was about to have some fun.
After a moment of lacing the hall with those very explosives, the girl tip-toed over to where the shadows were. Hey, dumbasses. She tossed a live grenade at the pack of shadows before walking nonchalantly down the hall where she had placed all of the explosives. Hearing a loud bang behind her, the girl pulled out the switch that would trigger all of the explosives she placed.
Turning around after reaching a safe distance from the shadows, she waited until the shadows turned the corner. With a smirk on her face, the girl flipped the switch, causing a large explosion right where the shadows were. They were completely annihilated. Or so she thought. Among the smoke that formed from the explosion, an odd shock-wave came bursting through, hitting Ally directly. The girl fell to her knees as her body began to act weirdly. Looking up, she saw one last shadow coming straight at her.
Unable to think properly, she began fumbling around with a grenade before pulling the pin on it. Realizing what she had just done, the girl dropped the live explosive and ran away from the shadow. Narrowly escaping the explosion, the girl fell to the ground. Looking back, she let out a sigh and dusted herself off. She was way too cocky for her own good. But was that going to stop her? Certainly not.

After brushing herself off, the girl looked over at the remains of the shadows. There wasn't exactly anything left of them to say the least. (Not much left of the hallway either.) But upon looking closely at the piles of rubble, the girl spotted a piece of clothing. Picking it up and examining it further revealed it to be more than just some old piece of clothing. It seemed to be some sort of bullet-proof vest.. Uwah. The girl was ecstatic upon realizing what she had.
Pulling it around her body to put it on, the girl jumped up and down excitedly. A perfect fit~ Her eyes were gleaming with delight at this discovery. Her trip here had not been for naught!
