Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
It was slightly ironic that Vice was here, standing strong although a bit roughed up from an encounter on the way here. Here he was, a not completely 'fine' person in terms of percentage, in a hospital and there was no help to be given to try and alleviate his ails. Not that he needed any, though, it wasn't even a scratch in his rightfully humble opinion.
Again the barrier leading to this area had been blocked off until recently and to an extent he had played a bigger role than most for having fought and defeated the Stratum Shadow with the help of two others. WIth that in his mind, and the obvious strength that Arondight had been showing recently, Vice was adequately confident that he could take on a few shadows down this area to gain more experience in terms of handling his still relatively new persona. Equipped with his swords, gun, black coat and an Imaginary Friend, the red eyed biker continued down the halls of the less than helpful hospital.
Vice slid under an emergency cart for those patients in order to avoid getting punctured by a those bloody things that the fake cupid was sending at him. He was sweating, he was wondering what the hell had happened, and he was literally under heavy fire the moment an Agilao had been casted overhead. Rolling out of the trajectory of the attack, Vice tried to check if his gun was still on him to try and suppress the incoming enemies but was numbly surprised to realise that he didn't have it with him.
Gritting his teeth, the only human in the vicinity called forth for his only viable weapon for this fight and soon the sounds of shattering glass all around could be heard. The guttural roar of a deathly knight echoed out as the shattering glass finished. A ball of darkness convulsing in his hand and with a mental trigger from Vice, fired it straight at the damnable cupid that had been a bigger thorn on his side than those twins. The spherical darkness made a gross impact on the cupid, shattering one of its wings and causing it convulse on the ground. Relentlessly , Vice ordered it to happen again and with a direct hit this time, said Cupid slowly vanished into nothingness.
From his seek of vengeance, the young man had reacted too slow for the remaining shadow and had to pay for it with a blast of fire right in his chest. The attack had sent him tumbling backward, and for some reason he was feeling a bit more light headed than usual. Shaking it off took a bit too much time, enough time for the twins to suddenly roll on towards him and literally barrelled him over. Keeping his stand, pain flaring up in his limbs, the User refused to fall as once more the shattering of glass all around boomed.
A soft word escaped Vice's mouth, and the battle ended with a flash of purplish light.
Soon enough, Vice found himself leaning against a wall. His memory a bit foggy from what the hell just happened and no matter how much he tried to jog it, there was just an empty blank. Whatever it was, it'll probably disappear soon enough. Just a few minutes of rest should help.
The rest had managed to do Vice some good. Not to mention that the silence that had washed over the place had given him enough time to scavenge for his lost weapons. Unfortunately though, he was still missing bits and pieces of what had happened in the first place. Wiping off the ichor that seems to have clung to him quite seriously, the young man just shook his head when the substance refused to completely leave his clothing.
Holstering his revolver and sheathing both of his swords, the young man exhaled a breath of irritation and carefully made his way outside. Thankfully he still had his perfect memory over the maps of this place which meant that he wouldn't be getting lost any time soon. Still, he was hoping to remember what ever the hell he forgot in this place.
