Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
The bullets fell down from the ground, Vice's fingers twitching uncontrollably for a moment. It didn't happen, the twitching, unless it was cold outside and having just come from there, the biker was pretty sure that the temperature was as normal as it could ever get in the fog like this. There were any problems so far either, no shadows to test a few things out on the earlier levels and so that had more or less forced Vice to keep moving upwards at least until the highest he could reach.
As per usual, his goal here was to explore the floor and find out just where the barrier was. During that, he'd have to lure out the stratum boss as well to get more experience and increase his battle prowess with Arondight on his side. Which, to mention, the Knight was simply there, meditating inside his head. Not like it always did that but it was far more quiet than usual.
Ignoring that thought, not exactly useful right now, the young man bent down to pick up the bullets that had fallen before reloading his revolver properly this time. He had a place to map and dallying near the stair case wasn't going to help anyone.
"Alright. One Fucker here, One Fucker there. Guess what, everyone? There's 2 too many of you here so you'll have to go!"
Screw subtlety, screw the environment. Screw hiding away in the recesses of the darkness in order to survive. Vice was angry, and he didn't even quite know why. He had been calm just a few minutes ago with all the series of plans going through his head along with the maps of the place that he had been able to mentally draw out. The transition was so abrupt that the persona user couldn't even be assed to think twice about it. The cool and calm demeanour he usually handled shadows with was replaced with what most people could count as the 'shounen fighting spirit' and honestly it didn't fit the guy.
Still, screw aesthetics, the guy was pissed without reason.
"You, stupid looking half assed valentine's rip off! Boom!" An explosion of darkness erupted from above as it showered over the cupid who began to writhe in pain. It screamed and Vice laughed. The laugh was cut short when a gigantic fist smacked him across the face. His neck was strained, and his feet flew off the ground, but even then the attack wasn't enough to send him flying. Not anymore. His feet went back to the ground and with a manic grin did he unholster the loaded revolver and shoved the barrel inside the Gigas' guard.
"You think I'm stupid, don't you?!"
A series of muffled bangs and the Gigas screamed out mutely before stumbling back.
"Well, I'm not! You think I can't kill you all? You think all of your kind is superior don't you?"
He felt a burst of white light erupt from beneath his feet and the following damage made him stay himself.
"Tell your friends, tell your family, tell your goddamn God that I'm fucking through with this!"
The sound of shattering emanated from everywhere as Arondight rose behind Vice, the mist that covered him somehow choking the very light around the two. A guttural roar echoed from the black knight as black swords began to form around his hands. The Blade of Fury swept through the battle field and struck all of the enemies, wings were clipped and limbs were torn away from the attack. In return, Vice withstood the pain of flames and arrows.
And in turn Arondight roared.
The user called forth the swelling amount of power within him and raised his hand in a grandiose posture for casting. An orb of purple energy converged upon it and with naught a word, the red eyed User brought his anger upon the creatures. A flash of light and nothing else remained.
The lack of enemies had only marginally calmed down the raging asian. He was supposed to be happy that there were no more shadows within the vicinity but at the same time, it had somehow become the cause of his new frustration. He wanted to kill more of them, the ungrateful pricks that had dared to kill him after becoming their shield. Those faces that cheered his name were the same faces that spat upon his efforts. All of them had to burn.
An unbridled growl escaped Vice's throat as the sound of shattering once more echoed out and Arondight himself rose upon the rubble. Exerting numerous spells against the wall in front of him, supports be damned, the young man had drained away eighty percent of his remaining energy and had been rewarded with a busted wall and lingering wisps of darkness from his constant usage. Breathing deeply, sweat pouring down his neck and the strain in his eyes now more visible, the quickly cooling off User turned his back and headed back towards the exit to reach back his resting area.
