Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Moving down these abandoned hallways, Chidori was once again reminded of the reason she had moved to Mosaic City in the first place - the surgery that would correct the damage done to her vocal cords and restore her ability to speak. It had cost a fair amount of money, but in an effort of goodwill, the doctor had taken a hefty amount off of the proposed value, stating that such a miracle should not require a family to lower themselves to poverty levels in order to overcome such a tragedy. Very much excited and grateful, the brunette mute had moved to the the high-tech city, getting settled in whilst the good doctor got things ready. However, he had been outside of the city last she'd heard, and given the shadowlands now surrounding them, she feared that she would never see the doctor again - a sadness felt on multiple levels since she doubted the chances of finding another doctor with the talent and equipment necessary to perform that surgery.
And that was if they could even break through this circle.
Speaking of which, she was searching this hospital for any sorts of clues she could find - after all, they needed to know what it was the shadows were after, and why they weren't appearing in the city. Besides the obvious Full Moon Shadows, of course (the pattern was becoming rather clear with those now). Still, she kept on guard, chocolate brown eyes scanning her surroundings as she readied herself to summon Juno should shadows try to get the jump on her.

It didn't take much exploring before she heard the familiar rustling of movement, making the mute tense up in anticipation. Waiting and listening, she heard the sounds coming closer, and ducked behind a desk, watching with keen eyes as not one, not two but three shadows converged on her old position, moving with eerie co-ordination. She must've alerted them to her presence previously, but for now, she had to take them on while she had the advantage of surprise.
Light blazed around her as Juno appeared, protecting her within the bubble encapsulation whilst the light surged forward, spearing the closest shadow with a lance of light. Apparently, it must've been weak to such a blow (thank lady luck for that), as the strange conjoined shadow simply burst into smoke and then nothingness, leaving her with two more to deal with. One of the others began to move in a slow, sensual rhythm, but all it did was make Chidori perturbed, failing to bring her under its charms. The other shadow, a Cupid of some kind, copied her approach, blasting her with a column of light...which she completed nullified. Smiling to herself, the mute gambled on the usual polarity of light and darkness, opting to batter it with the power of darkness.
The gamble paid off as the Cupid stumbled and fell flat on its back, the Dancers still moving in that same sensual pattern, attempting to assauge Chidori's wrath...and still utterly failing to make any sort of impact. Finishing the fallen shadow off with another round of Mudo, the brunette wheeled around to face the remaining shadow, which, having gotten fed up with not doing anything significant, decided to set her ablaze, flames surging towards her; both her dress & Juno's got a little charred from the blow, and she could feel her blood boiling beneath her skin, but Chidori ignored that as she brought the full power of her abilities down upon the Dancers, blasting it into oblivion with enhanced Hamaons.
Once they were all dealt with, she quickly healed herself and continued mulling about, searching for anything useful she could find - if nothing else, she'd gather things to pawn off later to the strange blonde woman, who was rather kind all things said and done.
