Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Her confidence more or less steady after a few reasonable solo explorations, Chidori was content to continue her exploration of the hospital - the sewers were still a no-go for her right now, at least until she was sure she could handle things properly. Besides, mapping different areas gave her brain plenty to do keep her busy, since her artwork barely took up her free time anymore, thanks to a large flow of muse. Maybe she'd even be able to sell off a bunch privately, making a decent profit for herself - it wasn't as if she hadn't been able to do that from time to time. It was hard, of course, given her disability, but that just meant her art spoke for itself, rather than her trying to swindle and persuade.
Pushing the errant thoughts aside however, the mute scoured the abandoned hospital halls for clues, useful information or even just semi-valuable junk that she could collect for the peculiar junk dealer back near the Terminal. Juno's steady presence helped keep her mind firmly grounded in the present, and Chidori was ready to summon her - shadows were almost guaranteed to drop in at some point in time, and she preferred to get the drop on them if she could. In fact, she was even making her way down these halls as quietly as possible, wary of alerting them to her presence like last time; she would do her best to help the investigation, even if it meant being very cautious in handling her explorations.

Stalking quietly amongst the darkness of the halls, Chidori found herself exploring into a part of the hospital she was actually somewhat familiar with (or at least, that kind of place within a hospital anyway) - the surgery rooms. Amphitheatres set up for family and friends to look on whilst the surgery took place, plus several closed rooms for privacy, and numerous waiting rooms. She vaguely remembered being rushed through this kind of area after her attack, the doctors and surgeons trying to limit the damage done to her neck. Sadly, they hadn't been able to fix her vocal cords obviously, though she had been expecting to go back into one such room this year to correct even that damage. A dream that had been dashed, unfortunately.
Nevertheless, she searched with impunity, looking through drawers and desks (avoiding the sharper objects when she could) and stacks of papers. Whilst leafing through one such stack, a low, thudding noise caught her attention - the sound of something heavy moving nearby. Whirling around, the mute carefully approached the noise, sticking to the wall of the waiting room she was in as she peered through the doorway into one of the surgery rooms. Inside stood one of the big brutes - the Gigas shadows - dressed in green smocks that surgeons wore, trudging about aimlessly. Nearby lay scattered tools, including numerous scalpels that made her just a little uneasy. Still, since she had to go back through that room to get out, she would have to deal with the shadow sooner or later.
Stepping through the doorway, Chidori quickly summoned her evolved princess persona, blasting the damned thing with a surging column of light, her hairpin glinting in synchronisation. The Gigas visibly stumbled, obviously struck hard by the attack, before it turned around and threw her a fury-filled glare. Charging towards her, it swung one of its massive fists, catching her in the side with a painful collision. Thrown off her feet, the mute hit the ground, wincing in pain as the stupid thing smirked, pumping its guns in arrogant pride. Gritting her teeth, Chidori got back to her feet, renewing her assault with another blazing column of light, the enhanced Hamaon sending the creature sprawling as well.
Apparently having dealt with light-users before, or perhaps from some innate knowledge, the creature tried lashing out with a magical attack, striking at her with the power of darkness...only to find that the mute stood her ground with ease, resisting the magic. Obviously angered by this turn of events, it prepared to run at her again, but was interrupted when Chidori 'put her foot down', using her signature Light magic to stop it in its tracks. Now grunting with pain, the Gigas switched tactics again, radiating with familiar warm glow as it healed itself. A little worried about its sustainability, the mute decided it was now or never - she had to keep up a frenzy of attacks to make sure it went down.
And frenzy she did. Columns of light bore down on the creature like the wrath of heaven, obliterating it with extreme prejudice. Once sure that the creature was gone, Chidori leaned against the wall behind her, catching her breath and healing up some of the damage that the massive fist had done to her. When she was able to move again, she did so slowly, retracing her steps and exiting the hospital, ready to put her rough maps into a more usable form.
