Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Ringo walked on into the area. He started to check his equipment and the three medical powders he had in his pocket. He was was decent so far. Ringo decided to return to the street where he wandered looking for that cat and came across this old factory and decided to give himself a look around. Maybe he'll find something. Knowing his luck, it'll likely be shadows.
Ringo looked at his sheathe. He had one built in order to be more durable so that Ringo can use it as a a weapon...but he was never really taught how to use a sheathe as a weapon. His only frame of reference is samurai movies and manga. This was going to be a risky experiment. Fighting in a way you're unfamiliar with always comes with its own risks even if Ringo did so to increase the variety of ways he can strike his enemies.
Ringo placed his hand on the handle of his sword as he continued to walk down. He was now deeper within the factory, and that could mean an attack at any moment.

Ringo heard the familiar sounds of gurgling flesh that came from the usual shadow. They were two present and they were the usual variety that is a blob of slime being pulled by two arms. He started to pull the blade out of its cover. He was going to make the first move seeing as how they were just staring at him. Ringo took a deep breathe and lept forward to begin his charge.
One of the Mayas unleashed a skewering attack with its arm. It was a technique Ringo is all too familiar with due to encountering the skill at least thrice. Ringo sliced across its face and then slashed down ward. The shadow was stunned. Ringo was about to smash it but then moved away from a shard of ice. He looked over to see the other shadow. He still needed a better way of dealing with multiple shadows. Ringo quickly sliced the other one apart before running over to the magic casting shadow. He dodged a sphere of fire and sliced the shadow.
Ringo finished by smashing his sheathe on it, crushing its mask and head and he watched as it dissipated. Ringo then took a large deep breathe, using the sheathe as a crutch to keep him up. He really is pushing himself huh? They're only limits to the athletic prowess of a person after all. Ringo placed the sword back in and started to stretch. He began to ponder if he should search deeper. Maybe some other time. He started to turn around. Maybe he should try to find another entrance to this place.
