Personality: Gin is always seen as... Odd. Never one to really be seen in public, he refuses to speak to anyone who doesn't attract his attention in some unusual way. He seldom says more than what's needed, and if pressed for more he becomes agitated. He has no preference on fighting, but feels it can't be avoided. However, he has no discrimination against anyone and will fight against them if need be. He will attempt to intimidate any who annoy him, and is often seen as rude. Cares about how he is seen, but refuses to show a good side. He will generally stay in quiet places, and is oftentimes seen in heavily wooded areas. If he isn't there, he's usually searching for some form of entertainment, as he gets bored with things fairly easily.

History: Being of Japanese descent in Ireland wasn't easy for Gin. It wasn't made any easier by the constant presence of death in his life. His mother had died during childbirth, never even being able to hold her son. His father died while Gin was five, hit by a drunk driver. Gin's first friend, Mark, had died of cancer within the season of them meeting. Gin was six at the time. His caretaker committed suicide when Gin was nine. Nobody lived long when Gin was in contact with them. As such, he became a "death-wish," as the other students called him. He was a jinx, and nothing Gin said would ever change that. So he accepted it.
One day, after being shunned from his classmates once again, Gin was approached by something... Horrifying. He didn't know what it was, yet he felt that it came from him somehow. He refused to come near it when it beckoned, and it came towards him. Gin knew that it wasn't benign, and that he had made a grave mistake. Coming ever closer, the being came after the now-running Gin. It wasn't long before it caught him, and, with malice in its eyes, it slew Gin. Then it took over his life.
"Gin" was eventually sent to Mosaic City to live with his aunt. He never met her, as, a mere hour later, the first signs of the lock down were showing themselves. Calmly recognizing the work of his brethren, Gin decided to live as a normal student among the humans. He would wait until the opportune time to join forces with the others.
