Gurgled noises from the shadow were the only warning Pyxis had before the shadow let loose a purple aura. As it touched her, Pyxis felt the presence of Pandora in her mind suppressed, as though being sealed. A silencing skill, then. That would be a problem if the fight continued for too long, but for the moment she could continue shooting. And that was exactly what she did, firing another volley of bullets at the considerable bulk of the zombie-like shadow.
As she fired, an explosion came from behind the group. She spared a quick glance around her, catching sight of the new arrival just long enough to commit what it looked like to memory, then turned around. The shadow had only just showed up on her sensors, right before breaking down the wall, so there was very little advance warning of it. But now that it was here, she could keep track of it.
As she tried to plot out a good way to keep both of them in direct vision, though, the first shadow emitted a strong electrical charge. Her systems briefly froze up as the electricity hit her, forcing her down to one knee until everything recovered. Then, shortly afterward, she felt Pandora's presence again as Chidori healed the three of them. "Stay focused," she said in response to Vice's question. "Focus on taking this thing down first, but don't lose sight of the other one." It was easy for her to say, at least, being able to keep track of both shadows without direct line of sight. If they couldn't finish the first one quickly, or if they couldn't get to the other side of it, it would probably fall to her to do just that.
