Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Amane walked on into the cemetery. She wasn't here the for the first full moon encounter. The first time one of these strangely powerful shadows showed up. Now she was going into the catacombs area. She kept a grip on her staff as she walked into the catacombs. She tapped on the ground every and then.
This was too quiet. Amane gulped as she continued on forward. W-what are you thinking, Amane...just calm down. It's just dark...there is nothing here for now. In fact, you can just test it right now with Silky. Amane's eyes began to glow as the persona card appeared in her hand. She smashed it and Silky appeared behind her.
"Just...just a test hama shouldn't hur-!" Amane shuddered and turned around. "Who's there?!"

Phoebe didn't expect to see someone else at the cemetery at this time. She'd gone to investigate and sensed a powerful presence. She had a feeling in the pit of her stomach that it was bad news. She'd missed out on helping fight the big Shadow during the full moon but she was determined to be present for this, if it indeed was another huge Shadow.
She entered the catacomb with her sledgehammer at the ready, just to find someone else already there. She was hesitantly walking up to them when they brought out a Persona and suddenly whipped around to face her. It was a young girl with a staff and she looked quite nervous.
"Ah! C-calm down!" she blurted. "I'm not a Shadow. My name is Phoebe. I'm a User too."
She relaxed her stance a bit and to lend more credence to her words she willed her Persona's card to appear, then tapped it with her hammer. It shattered and Antiope appeared beside her, brandishing her shield proudly.
"I think I remember you from the gathering at the bar. You sensed something going on around here, didn't you? I'm here to help take care of it."

Ally had felt a strange presence again. It was a sensation much like the time on the night of the Full Moon, though much less intense. Regardless, it was something that the girl felt needed some investigation.
Packing up her things and bringing enough explosives for a big fight, the girl set out into whatever direction her senses brought her. Eventually, they led her to the catacombs, one of the first places the girl had ever explored. With a shrug, the girl quickly entered the catacombs. Hearing a bit of noise, the girl reached into her bag for a bomb only to stop midway. It was just some more people. One looked a little familiar, though she couldn't exactly remember where she was from. The other one holding a hammer was a complete stranger though.
She gave the two of the a quick look over. They were armed, and had shown up here at the same time as her. It was pretty obvious what they were here for. With a sigh, she looked down the hall a bit. She'd much rather get this fight done and over with. Keep your guard up, you two. She didn't know these two, but they were going to be her partners for the fight it seemed. She needed all three of them to be safe for when this thing really did show up.

A sleep that stretched millennia into the past was being disturbed. A place of death was an adequate place to sleep, so why was it awakening? The cries of the recently deceased reached its ears. Its kin were being slain, it seemed. Ah, what tragedy. The killing needed to stop, then. All needed to rest in peace. Not just its own kind, but the invaders that were so freely roaming and unleashing chaos. Everything needed to embrace a silent, peaceful end. If it had to dirty its hands and use force to bring about those ends, then that could be done.
Black tendrils pulled it through the halls of the catacombs. Stone-on-stone cried through the extents of the labyrinth, warping over time to sound like the wails of the dead. Once it found itself nearer to the sensation, it sped up, the howl turning into the grating and grinding of stone. The stone coffin, propelled by dark tendrils, only stopped when the humans were within sight. Blowing the lid off with a blast of darkness, the Shadow within the coffin oozed out, like a sentient fluid. However, this was short-lived. Eventually, it developed a number of legs and two rather large pincers. Dark beads connected the back of the body to the coffin. The coffin itself, which was slowly rising from the ground, was darkening, becoming a part of the Shadow. Thin spikes blossomed from the club-like tail. Finally, it could produce the sleep these beings so dreadfully needed.
Beware, the scion of death has approached!

Phoebe was rather distressed at the appearance of the other girl.
Oh God, they're both just kids! If something is indeed here... she thought and gulped but then set her jaw. Right. I'm the adult here. I... I'm gonna look after them.
And lo and behold, with the din and clamor of an oncoming train, a coffin burst out of nowhere before them and opened to reveal a huge, scorpion-like Shadow. It was a frightening sight to behold, bigger than any Shadow Phoebe had seen before. She gulped but her resolve was set. She brandished her hammer with determination and stepped forward.
"I'll take point," she heard herself say bluntly and wondered how she managed to stand despite her shaking knees. "Please be ready to watch each others' backs, ladies!"
Antiope rushed in front of her, her shield raised defensively and even behind the stern appearance of helmet, the Persona's calm determination was evident in her stance. A word floated through Phoebe's head and she knew at once it was just what she needed to really make a difference in this fight.
"Rakukaja!"
Antiope raised her shield up high in one extravagant motion and a brilliant orange light swirled around each of the girls. Phoebe herself felt as though she was being protected, her whole being suffusing with a sense that her skin was that much tougher. Yes, this would give her and the other two a bit of oomph that they rather needed.

"Ah! C-calm down!" It took Amane a good half minute to process who this person was. It was one of the women at the bar. "I'm not a Shadow. My name is Phoebe. I'm a User too." Amane slowly began to calm down. The panic in her eyes slowly sinking back into her neutral expression. Amane's grip on her staff did not lighten though.
"My apologizes...I'm Amane." With the quick introductions Amane heard footsteps. It wasn't sudden so she wasn't as surprised. It was a long blonde haired girl. Amane recognized her as another one of the participants of that battle with the giant demonic school girl. Wait wasn't she the one who was sleeping?
"Keep your guard up, you two." Amane wasn't sure how to feel about that. But such feelings will have to be left unidentified. The threat was here. Amane shuddered as she heard the lid of a coffin lifted off and fell on the ground. Coming out was a bunch of sentient ooze which morphed into a shadow. Keep your guard up it's just a shadow...keep your guard up it's just a shadow...
""Rakukaja!" Amane was snapped back into reality at Phoebe's words. Her eyes began to glow as she hastily crushed her persona card. Silky like wise appeared once more.
"Garula!" Going straight for the kill, Silky unleashed a blast of wind at the scorpion.

Narrowing her eyes, Ally noticed something happening to one of the coffins. Readying a bomb, the girl prepped herself for anything that might be coming out at her. With a determined look on her face, the girl watched the coffin transform into what looked like a scorpion. With a moment of thought, the girl considered her options. With a quick glance at her teammates, the girl shoved the bomb back into one of her pockets for quick use.
The younger girl went for an attack, though, she couldn't be sure of how effective it would be yet. Meanwhile, the other girl put up a defensive ability. She was somewhat familiar with it, having seen it in action during the last full moon. As for herself, Ally would be using the ability that she had used on that very night. Valkyrie! Sukukaja. In a flash of light, a winged warrior wielding a large pole-arm appeared, casting another protective ability on the three of them.
The ability had proven useful during the last full moon as it managed to speed everyone up a significant amount. Truly, a useful ability. I'm going to focus on doing this for now. She made her intents known for the other two. She honestly didn't care what they did right now as long as it was helpful.

The girls had their turn. Only one attacked, and that wind did neutral damage to the Shadow scorpion. It was time to return the favor. They wished to grant it a peaceful rest, as well, so it was only fair to go on with what it had intended all along. It sized up its opponents. One was large. The two small ones were like a fairy and a sprite of darkness. The fairy and the meat mass seemed to be keen on supporting themselves. They took a priority. Slowly at first, the scorpion approached. Then, readying its full body, it went on the offensive.
The spikes from the coffin fly at Phoebe! Upon contact, moderate pierce-damage, plus poison, will be inflicted! It really was similar to the kiss of a viper.
Following that, the scorpion slammed it's coffin-tail down at Ally! Contact would mean moderate strike-based damage!

Ally watched the beast carefully as it made its move. It decided to attack the bigger girl first by sending a flurry of spikes at her. Ally couldn't look back to see if she was alright or not, seeing that she was about to be hit by the shadow's tail. Attempting to dodge, the girl was hit directly by the tail. Luckily, she managed to resist the majority of the blow thanks to her armor and natural resistance. With a painful smirk, she regained her posture and pulled out the bomb she placed in her pocket. That's enough support for now. Let's see what makes it squeal!
Pulling the pin on the homemade bomb, the girl tossed it at the underbelly of the shadow that was now at a close range. Moving a bit back, the girl readied herself to dodge if need be.
Amane felt the Sukukaja. Her body felt lighter. This wasn't a new feeling seeing as how she was blessed with it back during that battle with the demonic school girl. The scorpion has now decided to attack the group, making Phoebe and the sleepy girl a priority. The scorpion shot spikes out at Phoebe and then swung its tail at the other girl. Amane winced when she heard the tail make contact with the other girl. However this was her opportunity.
"Bufula!" The earlier wind blast did to seem to do damage but not as much as she would've liked. Silky shot a large shard of ice at the scorpion, hoping to impale it through its skull. The faster she finishes this the faster she can get out.

Phoebe shrieked in surprise when she was attacked and she wasn't able to dodge. Antiope raised her shield and took the brunt of the spikes but Phoebe still doubled over and clutched her stomach. She felt pain all over as though something had pierced right through her, but that wasn't all. She shivered from top to bottom and felt awful. A searing hot pain spread from her abdomen all over her and the world started spinning.
"Ugh... A-Antiope--" her attempt to order a counter-attack was interrupted.
She dropped her sledgehammer with a clatter and put her hands on her knees and retched. A splatter of vomit hit the ground and Phoebe almost blacked out from the awful feeling of it burning its way up her throat and out of her mouth. She felt so dizzy that it took her a moment to focus her sight again and she straightened her glasses just to see an awful splotch of red in her puke. She'd barfed up blood.
Any other day, Phoebe would've panicked. Just sheer, blind panic that would've made her run away screaming. Instead, she shook herself down, took several deep breaths and although she was panting from a continuous, acidic pain all over her, she picked up her sledgehammer and shook herself down. She got into a stance and glared at the scorpion Shadow.
"Πας να... να με φας λάχανο, ε μαλάκα; Θα σου...πω τώρα...εγώ..." she muttered fiercely and joined in Amane's elemental attacks.
"Come on Antiope, Maragi!"
The Amazon struck her shield with her spear and then pointed the spear at the scorpion, creating a barrage of fiery explosions around the battlefield, one of which struck the giant Scorpion.

Again, the humans acted. The bomb went off, but was nullified! The frigid surge went off, dealing neutral damage. All in all, things were still looking okay for the scorpion. Then, however, fire came. Burning the Dread Scorpio, the flames seemed especially effective! The Shadow took a moment to assess the situation. Overall, the flames, though effective, were weak. So long as it did not get ahead of itself, there would be no danger. Then, holes opened around its head.
The Shadow sprays a black cloud at the girls. Successful contact means minor darkness damage!
Amane looked over at the older woman to see a puddle of blood not far from her. She could easily put two and two together as to what happened. Amane was about to command Silky to heal her the best she can until she heard the bomb the other girl sent underneath the scorpion go off...only to do no damage to it. She was now debating her options. Kill it fast or get help or support her team mates and risk dragging out the battle? Amane made an instant decision the moment she noticed the holes on its head opening.
"Ha-" Amane shuddered as she felt the rush of black clouds that the shadow sprayed. Suddenly her entire body was in pain. Her persona disappearing with a scream before it could unleash her spell and Amane trying her best not to scream in agony. Her staff dropped to the ground and she nearly collapsed on her knees, trying to keep herself together and she wasn't even poisoned.

Phoebe grit her teeth even as another wave of pain washed over her. By all appearances this stupid scorpion was too strong to be hurt by makeshift bombs. That wasn't good. On the other hand though... her Persona's fire seemed to be a bit too hot for this big bastard. She narrowed her eyes.
"Amane!" she blurted when the girl went down and made to go to her but the black cloud the Scorpio had spurted got to her first.
She shivered from head to toe and then gasped in pain. Spears of hurt stabbed through her like needles and she almost doubled over again. She fought down another urge to puke and shouted at the blond girl.
"Hey!! Girl! You! If you've got... any kind of support, now would be good! Your bombs are no good! Try and help Amane to her feet!" she shouted and turned back to the Scorpio.
This is bad. I'm the only one who can effectively damage it but not by much. We won't last for long if this goes on. I could just spam fire but the last time I overdid it with fire magic I ended up with such a headache I could barely see and couldn't case any more, she thought. What am I gonna do?
She gulped and willed another fire attack for the time being. She'd give a physical attack a shot afterwards. Antiope brandished her spear and struck her shield with it, repeating another explosive barrage of fire.

Ally gritted her teeth as she watched the bomb go off. Nothing. Her bombs were completely ineffective. How was she going to fight it then? Her attacks were useless. Luckily she had two others with her. Would their attacks be good? She could only hope.
The scorpion sent out a dark based attack; something Ally had never come across before. Needless to say, she felt a sudden jolt of pain through her body as it hit her. Clenching her stomach, the girl remained up, ready to attack still. But looking off to the side. . . You gotta be kidding me. With a dull stare, she looked at the girl that had fallen. Darkness was her own weakness and she had taken it just fine. Kids these days.
She heard the other girl's call to her to assist her, but it was mostly disregarded. She was already on her way to Amane. Get up. Grabbing the girl's arm, she pulled Amane up and remained between her and the boss. My attacks are worthless against this thing. I need you to focus on fighting it while I support. Don't worry, I'll try to take the blows for you in the mean time. Ally was a tough cookie. Glaring at the scorpion shadow, the girl called out her persona once more. Valkyrie! Again, she cast Sukukaja on everyone, granting them even greater agility.
