Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

The flames burned the Dread Scorpio, leaving it in a slightly problematic situation. The meat wall was the bigger threat at that point. Why were they so resistant to the concept of a blissful slumber? That was the only attack to reach the Shadow that round. That meant that it needed to hurry up. Even if death was a slow change, a gradual occurrence, these humans were rushing it so desperately. They were pushing it to the edge. If it could sigh, the scorpion likely would have done so. Such a sad, sad state of affairs. It began to close the distance again, focusing solely on the largest member of the trio.
Snipping its claws, the scorpion swung in, snipping at Phoebe to deal minor Slash damage twice! Assuming it connected, anyway.
Following up, the scorpion sent its stinger above the woman, the morphed coffin cracking open and dripping seething darkness at Phoebe for moderate Dark damage!

With the blonde girl tending to Amane and boosting their agility, Phoebe was left to hold the Scorpio off them. Although she was in horrible pain she could still stand; compared to the time she had been in a car accident with her brother and had a piece of chassis sticking into her arm, this was small beans.
Well, smallish; it still hurt like hell.
Before she could think about it further, the Scorpio gunned for her.
Shit!
Phoebe crossed her arms over her chest and Antiope materialized over her, raising her shield and catching the claw as it came for them. There was a loud snap and Phoebe groaned. Ooh, that hurt. At least not as bad as it might've.
It's a slashing attack. I'm pretty sure I'm somehow resistant to them -- or at least, Antiope is. Oh man, how long can I keep this up!?
Another unrelenting attack came before she'd even bounced back from that one. The dark substance that the Scorpio dripped on her was like acid. It bit into her skin and Phoebe shrieked, practically flailing out of the puddle of oozing darkness left on the floor where she stood. She wiped it off her face and dropped to a knee, panting. Blood dripped on the floor and she wiped her nose to find it was bleeding. Small sores had opened on her forearms and they oozed a bit of blood too.
Her stomach gave another agonized wrench and she puked again, spitting up bile and a bit of blood. She used her hammer to support herself and painfully got up.
"I'm not going down yet," she hissed and wiped her bleeding nose again on the back of her arm.
She took a deep breath, swallowed back the urge to puke again and considered her options. Judging by how the blonde girl's bomb went down, attacking the creature head on with her sledgehammer was a no-go. Her other option was to send Antiope to impale that thing on her spear. But the physical attacks of her Persona always took quite a lot out of her and she was so hurt already she didn't think she could pull one off without toppling over. No, her best option now was to keep on the burn and hope that either of the girls could give her a bit of help.

"Get up." Amane felt herself get pulled up by the other girl. ". My attacks are worthless against this thing. I need you to focus on fighting it while I support. Don't worry, I'll try to take the blows for you in the mean time." Much to Amane's disgust...she was mot relieved at that last sentence. The girl started to summon her persona to once more cast Sukukaja on everyone again, making Amane's body even more lighter.
The scorpion was now focusing its attacks on Phoebe. Amane tried her best not to focus on the beating she is taking and instead focus on summoning her persona. She quickly picked up her staff and her eyes began to glow. She quickly smashed her Persona card with her free hand and pouring out of her being is Silky. She needed to support the one who is the fastest at killing at the moment.
"Hama!" Sadly Amane's definition of support at the moment is just hit it with a barrage of spells until it is dead. Silky's hand started to glow with a sphere of light and launched it over at the scorpion in hopes of killing it.

Ally watched as the scorpion decided to completely target the other woman rather than her or the one that she was protecting. Well, that was certainly annoying. Seems that she did a number on the girl as well. Regardless, Ally watched as the two others attacked the enemy. She felt a bit left out by the fact that she could not damage it, but luckily she had alternatives. Valkyrie! Dia. Summoning her persona, the girl called for a healing skill on Phoebe to ensure that she didn't go down. The last thing they needed right now was to be down a person.

First came the fire, then the scorpion saw the light. These humans would not accept the calming embrace of death. That was, it seemed, their choice. Was it a respectable choice? The Shadow was not certain. All it knew was death upon death, a vortex of sleep and partings. Many of its allies had gone before it. Many of its allies would follow it in the future. At the present, though, it seemed that the scorpion had reached its own end. Drifting back away from the humans, its strength left its body. Its legs dissolved before the body itself shrunk. The tail began to wither near the center. Then, snapping, the end of the tail, the corrupted coffin, came crashing down upon the Shadow's body, properly ending it.
The darkness faded, and the stone coffin regained its normality. Within, items could be found. The spoils of war- a gift of parting- from the scorpion. With its death came peace to the catacombs for the time being. It. . . was over.
You survived. How nice, you monsters. It was just trying to give you a hug.

Phoebe felt a wave of...something go through her. A sense of wholeness and wellness surged through her and she actually saw the sores on her arms from the dark attack fade and the skin knit together. Her nose stopped bleeding. She was still sore and her stomach hurt like hell but she felt like she could stand properly. She stumbled back and almost fell on her ass while the Scorpio collapsed upon itself, in defeat.
Victory is ours, Antiope said proudly in her head as she faded.
"We... we won," Phoebe said incredulously and then started coughing. She spat out some bloody bile and wiped her mouth.
She got up painfully, her head throbbing, and turned around to face the other two.
"Are you girls alright?" she said, then turned to the blonde girl. "Thank you for your support. I don't think I could've stood another round if you hadn't helped."
She turned around to examine the remains of the Scorpio. Something shiny caught her eye and she bent down to pick it up. It was like a pin button but it was very light and shiny. It was round and had a strange sign on it, a snow-flake surrounded by a red 'not allowed' mark. She shrugged and pocketed it. She sort of knew it'd be very useful if she found something to attach it to.
"We should probably get out of here," she said tiredly. "This fight must've attracted every Shadow in the area."
All she could think about now was to go home, shower and try to sleep. Possibly puke her guts out again.

Amane watched as her light spell hit the scorpion. She watched as she watched it collapsed. Despite the scorpion's slow dissipation, she was not calm. In fact, her expression was still widened with panic. Amane did not miss a single moment of its death. There was only the coffin left.. She walked over to were it once was and then took a large sigh of relief before raising a hand to dismiss her persona.
"We... we won," Amane started to walk over to the coffin, for a moment forgetting about Phoebe, raising her staff in the case of one last surprise form the shadow. It wouldn't be beyond their capabilities after all. Before she could smash it, she heard Phoebe say something. "Are you girls alright?" Amane lowered her staff and looked over at Phoebe...and as a result her condition. "Thank you for your support. I don't think I could've stood another round if you hadn't helped." Amane looked at Phoebe as went over and picked up her selected spoil and pocketed it.
"I..." Amane then cut herself off. She had no right to say anything. She looked over at it and picked up what appeared to be a jacket her size. She hit the jacket with her staff to get some dust off. It looks durable enough.
"We should probably get out of here," Amane nodded in agreement. "This fight must've attracted every Shadow in the area." It was at this point where Amane finally made her objection.
"Shouldn't we get you looked at? I doubt that poison is something you can just sleep off." None the less Amane started to head out. "I recommend going to a doctor at the very least."

Still standing in front of the girl whom had fallen earlier, Ally watched as the attacks that the other two let out finished off the boss. Watching the beast fall down, the girl felt her muscles relax as she lowered her arms.
Slowly she moved over to the enemy, looking into the coffin much like the other two and picking out a strange trinket of sorts. It seemed like it could come in handy for later. Her mission here was complete. It seemed that the one girl thanked her for the support despite her being pretty banged up from the fight. Ally didn't respond. Instead, she simply looked over her and sighed. The wounds were considerable. Nothing serious, but they would be annoying for her. She couldn't just leave her to head to the doctors like this. No. I can heal her. Valkyrie. In another flash of light, the girl's persona came forth healing the girl until she was in a sufficient condition to do whatever she needed to. The poison should simply run its course until it wears off. In fact, the poison should simply wear off when we reach the city surface. It was just her theory, given that personas and shadows couldn't normally work in the surface. The one exception being that night. Otherwise, that should do it. Now then. . . I'll be taking my leave. Without a word more, the girl simply left the two to their buisness while she could go back and make herself a snack or something.
