Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Another day, another trek. Shirako had returned to the executive building, blending in with the shadows to hide from the Shadows. Her progress was gradually improving. Every trip to the building allowed her to navigate the ruined mess of a structure more easily and more quickly. What took her nearly an hour at one point took roughly thirty minutes. Of course, there was the occasional side-tracking that was necessary due to annoying riff-raff getting in the way. While entirely unpleasant and a waste of strength, the woman did deal with them as they cropped up.
She just hoped that she could get from A to B and back to A without any issues.

A sword swept through the air before the woman, falling just short of reaching her and effectively clipping through the wall. She sighed and lightly hopped back, drawing and readying her sword fluidly. Yaksa materialized beside her. As the stone arm and sword slid in within range, charging itself, Shirako willed for Yaksa to charge in. Getsu-ei cleanly connected, dealing solid damage and leaving an opening. Taking a deep step in, the woman surged forward and dropped her blade like a guillotine blade, severing the arm from its hand and effectively ruining its combat abilities. Withdrawing and relaxing her grip, the woman watched as Yaksa spiraled around the Shadow, dicing the remains until it completely dissolved.

Convinced that the silence was a sign that nothing else was around, Shirako sheathed her blade and dismissed Yaksa. Her enemy was dead. No damage had been incurred, so she had no qualms with pressing onward. Taking a moment to peer ahead and get an idea of the new reaches, she nodded to herself and crouched. Moving on ahead at a fairly decent pace, the woman nodded. It would likely take a few more excursions like that one to fully scale the building, but she had hopes that she would be able to complete her trek sooner rather than later. At the very least, she planned on reaching a bit further into that darkness, dragging it to the light.
