Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

It took Maria a while but she had to get ready for the coming full moon. According to Phoebe a strong shadow would appear and time was short. The shadows here would most likely be stronger then in the city. But she was used to the growing strength of the shadows now. She didn't knew what kind of shadows she would meet here but it wouldn't be a cakewalk. She would take it nice and slowly. It was dark in here but that helped her as much as the shadows. The outskirts of the city were much more different then she remembered. She remembered playing there with her friends when she was little. She would honor those memories by making that possible for the next generation.

There was another shadow straight ahead. She scouted the room quickly. There was only one. Still if it was just as strong as she thought that wouldn't be a problem. It hadn't seen her yet so she had an advantage! Maria broke a persona card with her Pixie on it. A gust of wind went to the the shadow but it didn't seem to harm him much even though the wind was stronger due to her wind boosting trinket. It had seen her now and boy did this maya type shadow look angry.
So she just decided it was time to put that sword to use again. 'The worst thing that sword could do was inflict tetanus really. She just cut the shadow quickly. The shadow itself smacked her with it's arms. She flew a few meters back and flew against a chair. Luckily she landed right in the seat of the chair. She jumped out at the shadow again. Her attacks weren't very effective cause her weapon was rusty. Again it pushed her back. it really hurted. She felt tired for some reason. She really thought her adrenaline was going to work. It always did, why was she so tired like this in the middle of the fight? Unless... "Persona!" Maria shouted as Pixie removed her status ailments. yes she felt a lot better. It really was a status ailment. Then she saw a large gust of wind incoming. Which hit her straight in the face. To bat she resisted wind and it didn't hurt that much. She had to think of a better way to harm that shadow. She couldn't think anything and just jumped again on it. It was getting hurt but still needed something better. It then shot some kind of projectile at her. Maria could barely dodge it. It also pierced through in a wall. Maria took note of the damage. If another one hit the wall it could pierce through it. This wasn't looking good. She just stroke him again, this time in it's mask. She knew from previous battles that it was a weak spot. This Maya was nearly done for. She stroke him again in the mask with a precise blow to finish the job.

Maria noticed some trinket laying on the ground were the defeated shadow once stood. It was quiet strong but it didn't held out. She was so happy she wasn't hit by that pierce attack. Without any armor that would surely taking it's toll. The damage from up to that point could be fetal, combined with the damage she already sustained form it's previous attacks. She was so tired and hungry. She would first stop somewhere underway to eat as she didn't had the energy to make something herself anymore. The shadows really were getting stronger by the minute. She left the airport tired as she was.
