Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Phoebe'd returned to the executive building, with a more defined goal in mind this time. Now that her Persona had changed, she needed to get to grips with just how she'd changed and come to terms with it. She needed to be ready for the next full moon and the extremely high possibility that a big, powerful Shadow would make an appearance. She'd missed the first two, but now she had absolutely no excuse to not be there for the next one.
She stepped into the abandoned office complex. It was eerily quiet, lonely and as usual, smelled of mildew and rotting paper. She pulled out her hammer and then walked further in. She didn't bother keeping quiet. She wanted to attract a bit of attention.
Let them come. I will be here.
Hypatia was ready and so was Phoebe.

Phoebe cringed a little at the sight of all those Shadows.
Welp, I guess that's karma for you, she thought.
She grasped her hammer tight and summoned Hypatia. The Persona emerged in a flash of azure light from the shattered card and appeared ready for combat.
"Rakukaja!"
Obligingly, Hypatia swung her arm gracefully and orange light swirled around them, making Phoebe feel like her skin grew denser and gave her a feeling of being somewhat protected.
Just in time, too, because the Gigas type had rushed right up to her and reared back its fist. Phoebe squeaked, aware that if it struck her with a blunt attack, it was going to hurt a lot. But she had no time to dodge and so she just crossed her arms over herself defensively and hoped Hypatia would help her take the blow. A loud crash and a strange ringing noise later, Phoebe blinked. She'd felt nothing! The Gigas' fist, alight with energy had crashed onto Hypatia's raised shield. And the power coming off it had bounced back at the Gigas who seemed as puzzled as she was.
I have learned to anticipate my foe's attacks and sometimes, send them back to my foes, Hypatia explained patiently.
That was the best bit of news Phoebe'd heard all week. She immediately went on the counter-offensive. She figured the Gigas would not be damaged by her hammer so she ordered Hypatia to attack instead. She delivered a powerful one-two strike of her spear, sending the Gigas reeling backwards from the strength of it.
She felt a bump on her side and Phoebe looked over, puzzled. The sword-like Shadow'd crept up on her and the arm had swung at her wildly... but she'd felt nothing. She smiled a bit. So, slashing attacks were also useless on her. Hypatia's natural resistance to blades had grown into outright scorn.
Phoebe whirled around and struck the sword back with her hammer, while willing another attack.
"Hypatia, Maragion. Burn 'em all."
The Persona obliged and with a strike on her shield, a series of fiery explosions raged around her, engulfing the Shadows in fire. Good, none of them seemed to shrug the fire off. Phoebe dodged a twirl and a thrusting blade attack from the strange Shadow that looked like a pair of people dancing. Seriously, where did these things get their forms from?
She had to deal with three Shadows at a time and she was getting rather crowded. Phoebe backed up as far as she could go, luring the Gigas, who appeared to be the most nimble, to directly follow her.
"Maragion."
Another series of fire blasts and the Gigas stumbled forward. It was weakened and Phoebe was sure one more could finish it off... so she did just that. The Gigas exploded into burning bits of darkness and Phoebe rushed forward to get the next one. She slammed her hammer onto the sword, right on the fingers of the arm, forcing it to stagger back and drop its blade.
"Makajam!"
The dancers were interrupted in the middle of a spell and their dance was cut short. They seemed baffled and stumbled in their choreographed steps. Phoebe suddenly felt herself launched sideways by two powerful hits. The stupid sword had caught her in between attacks and sent her flying with the same kind of double attack that Hypatia used. Phoebe landed on her back but rolled over and got up quickly, despite her pain.
"Twin Shot right back at you, dammit!"
Hypatia struck the Sword type hard with both strikes of her attack and pinned it to the floor with the second one, cracking the concrete underneath and the Sword exploded into dark particles. The Dancers were coming back for another go and Phoebe felt another attack bounce off Hypatia's shield. The swelling of energy from the Dancers struck the Persona's shield and returned to the sender... just to make them explode into nothing.
Phoebe stood, flabbergasted and then laughed a bit.
"Hah. Hahaha... you're kidding me. Wow. Nice," she chuckled. "Ow, my sides..."

With the last of the Shadows dead, Phoebe pulled herself together and started heading out, grabbing a few bits of computer hardware and other office supplies as she went, thinking it might be a good idea to drop by the Junk Dealer's later. She'd pulled together quite a handsome little bunch of junk to turn over and would probably make a decent enough profit.
As she carried the things out of the building, she thought about the upcoming full moon. Sunday, actually. She dreaded what was going to come out of that battle - if a battle even happened. Everyone seemed to sure about it that she was starting to really believe it herself. She made a point to keep a sort of vigil through the night in order to try and pick up on any disturbances. She'd need to contact the other Persona Users she knew of, in order to establish some kind of plan beforehand.
Oh man, oh man... What's gonna happen on the full moon? Even though I'm a better fighter now than I was, I'm still nervous as hell...
