Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Nisha strolled into the hospital again. That building was a place where life had triumphed over death in the past. And, occasionally, death reigned supreme over life. Such was causality. Nowadays, though, the building was a place of literal combat. The scars of war were etched into the lower extents of the building. The further up she reached, the fewer the scars were, but, in place of quantity, quality had taken over. Where the damage was ultimately “smaller” on the lower floors, the higher up she went, she found the damages to be extraordinary. Entire walls were ruined, pits through several floors, and other such nonsense had occurred. The building was as good as done. Even if the barrier fell and everything went back to normal, this hospital would never be a place where life triumphed again. The war was lost. Humans, like herself, just continued to fight smaller-scale battles in the name of life. They were there to prove that life had not been defeated, even if that battlefield was ultimately lost.
Sighing to herself, the giant strolled onward. Life, death; light, dark; good, evil- all of these were matters beyond her. She was just there to help protect the city. If that meant killing Shadows, then that was her purpose there.

A stone giant and a wizard blocked the woman's way. She reached for and shattered her card, holding her crowbar ready, and willed for an Akasha Arts. The blast of destructive power alerted both Shadows to her presence, but it also dealt some heavy damage. The giant charged itself while the mage shot a blast of fire at her, but she clumsily side-stepped the blast, hitting a wall and breaking through it in the process. While trying to steady herself in her new setting, she willed for another Akasha Arts. She couldn't see the display, but she was sure that it was nasty. Moving towards the center of the room, the woman awaited her two opponents' arrival. The giant punched through the wall, while the mage tried to weave under its arm. Well, that made things simple.
Willing for a third Akasha Arts, the woman watched as the Shadow duo burst into darkness, melting away into nothing.

The titan and the wizard had fallen. They left the woman by herself in the darkness of the hospital. That's how it was whenever she entered the ruins. The only things she met were the Shadows, and she quickly did away with them. It was for the sake of others, she told herself, but it still bothered her. They would have killed her otherwise, she knew this to be true, but it still bothered her. As she put her hands together and closed her eyes, she began wishing well for the Shadows, but, with a bit of consideration, for whose sake was she really praying for? Was it for the Shadows? Or was it for herself? That was the thing she'd likely never have an answer for.
