Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
Standing here again, the third time entering through these very same doors, and still Vice couldn't shake off two very distinct things. The first was that he was still in a floating castle with the second being that it's starting to eerily look something akin to a cathedral the more he went around the place. His map was coming along nicely too, though it was still lacking the usual intricacies that his older ones sported.
Unlike the older areas too, Vice wasn't here to actively hunt down the shadows just yet. Finding short cuts, making routes, creating artificial safe areas for the time being, and getting the hang of navigating around the place were the objectives of his recent expeditions over the place. When he's got that settled, then he'd finally be able to pull along a good enough map that'll act as his guide while blasting off shadow guts all across the walls.
Well now. Weren't these shadows just the consistent bunch? Another set of Knights and Magi, swords and spells that probably had something to do with the motif of the cathedral well, Vice wasn't complaining about it. The variety was always a welcome pace and he did want to practice a few more things. Dodge the fire balls first though, and send in a blast of darkness for good measure.
Compared to the current levels of difficulty, Vice was pretty amazed that some how some way he was still pretty much dealing damage. Then again, weaknesses always made the difference in a battle. Just like how he hated getting stabbed, apparently blasts of darkness wasn't what the magus wanted.
Hell, Vice wasn't even giving two shits about the knight. All his attacks by far weren't doing anything to him. Bullets, bullets, and more bullets. Vice just emptied his entire set and then some. It's been a while since he last had any practice that wa worthwhile with his revolver and the biker was pretty happy to know he hasn't gotten rusty yet. Double resistances did have its uses, he mused.
The place was one hell of a maze. Long ass corridors, confusing intersections, and god knows how many other things were there. Whatever the hell part of this place was that Vice found himself actually requiring an immediate pen and paper to take down notes on wherever the hell he was going. There were a lot of dead ends on his current exploration and due to it, the young man had to back off for the time being.
Time was becoming an issue and the biker was beginning to feel the creeping sensation on his neck. He wasn't quite sure if it was real or not but the paranoia in him had more or less began to make him want to retreat for the time being. Not exactly satisfied with the progress of explorable areas, Vice left the place with a bit of a grunt to his step and a slight annoyance in terms of his shoulder width.
