Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
There was some kind of word to describe this sort of dedication. Back to back explorations in the same place probably meant something one way or another in terms of adjectives but whatever it was would really just be filler for the biker's thoughts as he scaled the steps towards the floating shadow nest high in the sky. There were a lot of things that may have been more important to think about, like what to eat for when he got back and what he was gonna do about the current order of things but hey, if people can be wasteful with a few things then there's no reason for Vice to not be able to prone to mistakes as well.
The entrance was finally in sight, like it has been for quite a while, but it was more visible now. Just a few more steps and he'd be setting foot inside the malignant area once more to try and gather more information despite the bodily and mental risks he'd have to go through to get said information. Well, not like all the other users could do what he's doing. The opponents here were tough and all the other recently awakened couldn't even hold a candle against some of the third stratum shadows still. Having them explore this place, even in groups, would be pretty dangerous since the shadows here usually traversed in groups as well.
Guess that's another thing he had to work on for the next few baby sitting expeditions he'll be leading.
A sword and a tower, offense and defense this time. Vice, in some fit of unusual anger, could care less about the symbolism being presented to him right now. What use was it for the enemy to come to come to him in some form of cooperative measure when they were going to both fall anyway?
His hands gripped into fists, his nails digging into the flesh of his palms as his blood began to leak out of the newly formed wounds. And it wasn't exactly the brightest of red that should have been but in his current instability, it mattered very little to him.
The fight didnt last long for the most part. Well, at least because of Vice's contribution. It was a surge of power unlike before, some unreal fountain of energy flowing from his hands and with the next summoning of Arondight for his strongest Almighty Attack, a different form came upon him then. Needless to say, despite the increased cost, the young man continued to spam it in the most ridiculous way possible. Ignoring all the damage being done to his body, not that he cared right now seeing as the onslaught of rage was turning into that of sadistic ecstasy.
It was damn right easy to walk out of that fight covered in lacerations, burns, and the guts of his dead enemies.
There was a surge of power in his core, and from what Vice knew there wasn't exactly anyone nearby who was casting any kind of buff. Well, whatever it was, it was an uncomfortable kind of power…and the red eyed user had no idea why he just described it as uncomfortable. It felt like something shouldn't be there but was nonetheless making things stronger. Shaking his head, the biker just counted it off as something being out of place after another battle like that.
Heading down the stair case, his body suddenly feeling a lot more lethargic after exiting the cathedral, Vice forced himself to stay awake at least until he could reach his home base. To which he had been successful. How exactly, the trip was quite a blur to him, didn't matter the time Vice met the pillow.
