Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

The clash with the giant went by well enough. The boy in drag hadn't quite gotten his fill of combat, though. So, instead of lingering or heading back, the young man shot forward again, succubus floating behind him. He could only hope that the next thing he did battle with would be entertaining. Not bothersome, mind, since that would be annoying, but something that could entertain him. The use of Heat Riser made a majority of the smaller battles a bit boring, really. But, considering that he was safer with Heat Riser, and that the “boredom” quality only appeared after he developed a battle high, it was an equal enough exchange.

Fortunately, Akira had the boon of Heat Riser in effect when a literal torrent of ice materialized and tried to skewer him. He twirled and dove forward, effectively avoiding the burst. If it used ice, then fire was a good guess. The boy willed for a Maragidyne form Alma Elma, and the succubus fired the wave of white magma from her tail, splashing and burning the majority of the area. The attack, naturally, coated the bird, as well. It was effective, sure. But no more than it would have been on other Shadows located in the area. Odd. And interesting, sure. Either way, the boy twirled as he closed the distance and slashed the bird. Another solid attack, but one with the same neutral effectiveness. As the bird spewed a torrent of spear-like spines, the boy willed for a Dream Needle. Fortunately, the spines weren't too effective- maxed Heat Riser, armor, and resistance to Pierce all helped there. Dream Needle, on the other hand, did the bird in in one go, it seemed.
