Post by Su Hao on Mar 17, 2014 2:05:56 GMT -5
Name: Hao Su (first, last)
Age: 9 (human age), 3 (shadow age) = 12 total years
Date of Birth: December 2nd
Birthplace: Chengdu, China
Gender: Male
Sexual Orientation: Asexual
Face Claim: Kira Kousuke from BTOOOM!
Appearance:
Height: 4 feet, 8 inches
Distinguishing Features: There's nothing remarkable about him. He's very, very ordinary. Eyes flash yellow when emotionally charged.
Class: Shadow
Arcana: XV - Devil Arcana
Occupation: Wandering Child
Weapons (Optional): He is proficient in his own fusion of 'kung-fu' and street-fighting. This style is most similar to San Soo, a brutal martial art that enunciates on its lack of 'structure' and 'rules'. Poking the eyes out of his victims is not restricted.
Fists don't slash or pierce, silly. (Strike)
Personality:
The facade is that Su Hao is a good-natured kid. He pretends to be nice and innocent, doing anything to keep the mask up. As much as he hates it, he disguises his evil thoughts rather well. While out and about, he is very sweet. He would be the type of brother to play the 'innocent type' rather than the 'annoying type'. There are, however, certain things that would sometimes prompt him to break off the illusion if he could afford to. For instance, being alone with someone possessing the qualities of emotional instability would make him want to apply pressure to their weakpoints simply because it's 'fun'.
His evil deeds tend to be the byproduct of whimsical thoughts. Hao is still a child (not a normal one, but still), so his impulses are more likely to drive his actions than logic. However, he does understand that what he does is wrong. In fact, his plots can be considered almost ingenious. There are no holds barred, so even if the victim or someone else dies during or after the execution, he'll be fine with himself.
Everything that applies to humans applies to his fellow Shadows as well. Unless it is safe to not do so, he will use the 'kid' facade against his kin. They are just like him, people who have been rejected by their counterparts. They 'are' their counterparts. But, why should he treat them differently from the humans that he is set to torment? If they have a 'self', they are targets too. Even still, Hao is not afraid of allying himself with the Shadows. Somewhere along the line, he'll be able to use them... whenever that happens.
Hao accepts his being a Shadow gracefully, seeing himself superior to the humans and the Persona Users. While Persona Users fight with beings that act as 'masks' for their true selves, Shadows fight as they are; they don't rely on another's strength but their own. Shadows are the most in touch with their animalistic side. Connecting to this idea, he also wishes to be above all else. His reasoning: Darwinism.
All in all, the erratic and chaotic Su Hao is not one to be trusted. But, he can be easily persuaded with promises of power and chaos. Despite being a master of manipulation himself, he has difficulty determining whether or not he is being manipulated.
...His ability to play his facade is also disturbingly perfect in almost every way. Could he really have the potential?

History:
Su Hao was an orphan, played straight and simply. He was the love child of a prostitute who slept with the CEOs of one of the largest businesses in China. The prostitute spent her money on drugs and other material pleasures, so she didn't bother with the baby that was inside of her. She gave birth in an alleyway with the assistance of two homeless men and a co-worker, and she later left him in that alley. Those two homeless men, however, took him in. At least they had a heart, not like that filthy slut they helped out. Besides, they did the deed for the kid, not the woman.
The only people that ever respected him throughout his life were those two homeless men, and the three friends faced the harsh realities of being poor and homeless together. Together, they begged on the streets, looking upon men who did not look back. Together, they made several strategies to steal from smaller businesses to get food if they couldn't get money. Ah, has it been mentioned that, despite all of that rattling inside of the womb, Hao was remarkably bright?
He had good wits in him, and his skill with words were amazing. His intelligence was transferred mostly to his ability to conduct business on the streets. Hao never had proper schooling, so where else could he apply this genius to? He led his three-man team to a hobo's definition of prosperity: stability.
This did not prevent the child from wanting to live in even better conditions. A home that wasn't an apartment didn't count; he wanted a mansion! He wanted to live in a great, big mansion with a giant garden. He wanted to attend some fancy-pants private school with uniforms and chicks with big boobs. He wanted to be a good kid, who was kind and innocent. He desired an amazing life, so how could he go about and do that? The answer was quite simple: find a role model.
Sometimes, he would sneak into an old family's home to watch their television. They were always on the same channel, constantly spewing this noise about current events. It was called the 'News'. Every once in a while, they would move on to a story about some rich guy who had done all kinds of evil things to reach his millionaire status. If that was all it took to make some cash, then this man was the perfect role model. Coincidentally, despite the boy never finding out, this man was also his father.
After studying up on his new role model, Hao would apply his 'teachings' to the real world. People were cheated out of their money by Hao's lies and deceptions, and he expertly manipulated their feelings to squeeze out even more money. His two friends were perplexed by the amount he would obtain daily, and they would question why he would disappear sometimes. The truth was that he would visit that old couple's home daily just to watch their television. The unethical businessman was the hottest topic for weeks on end. They even talked about the man having an affair with a prostitute and fathering her child! He was so strange and interesting!
One day, coming back from that home, he reached the alleyway. What he found were five teens beating up his friends since childbirth. They kicked them into the wall, slamming their heads while shouting the cruelest things. They have seen the men associate with the boy who left his corner on the street each day with wads of money. These kids were asking them where they kept their money and where the boy was, but the two men refused to tell.
A spiky-haired teen with sunglasses and a muscle shirt showed up in a car, and pulled out a gun from his back pants pocket. He shot one of the homeless men and continued to interrogate the other. Five minutes of nothing, and he shot him too, leaving their bloodied bodies in the alley. He sped away with his friends in the same car he came from. Luckily, they hadn't managed to see Hao.
Hao ran up to their dead bodies, expecting them to be alive. They weren't alive, of course. He touched their wounds and looked at his bloody hands, realizing that it was his genius and ambition that had killed these men. He inflicted pain on other people to bring good to the three of them, only to bring that pain back to his greatest friends.
There was laughter from behind him. The boy turned around to see... him. He looked just like Hao, but his eyes were golden and his smile simply did not belong. Shadow Hao mocked Hao for crying over their bodies, poking at the fact that he played with those peoples' emotions to get that money; he knew that he enjoyed doing so, even if he subtracted the fact that he gained money from it.
"Playing with people is great, isn't it? They're just stepping stones leading to power. You wanted that power. We wanted that power. Even now, we want that power. We have a... way with people, you and I. If they just show us their weak spots, we could grab hold of them and drive them to oblivion. All of them. Then, with us remaining, we'd be the richest man in the world~! Power, Su Hao, POWER!"
The boy could not believe that he was seeing him encourage himself to do these acts. He screamed at him angrily, trying to make him take back what he said. He denied that that was what he thought, trying to make him go away. But, Shadow Su Hao couldn't take this rejection lightly. He took the boy by the neck... and snapped it. With that, he was complete.
Following that, Su Hao slipped his way into a plane heading towards an airport by China's coast. A week or so later, he was in Mosaic City. For a long time, he slipped in and out of the alleys of Mosaic, playing with the emotions of others. He wasn't doing this for money anymore, but to exercise his ability to do it. Living things are just weak and stupid. How could they have stayed alive for so long?
Finally, a barricade was formed around Mosaic City, and the borders became infested with his kin. Hao had the ability to act as a Shadow. But, exactly what will he do next with this freedom? Nothing. He'll just continue what he's been doing. Hopefully, Mosaic will fall by his or the others' hands someday.
