Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Pressing on through the halls, the woman could feel a dull ache in her shoulder. It was likely due to her evasive maneuvers taken during the opening of that first fight. She likely bruised, or something like that. She doubted there'd be anything too nasty to worry with. A little rest would take care of it. But, that was for later. For the present, she just needed to find a few more Shadows, take care of them, then leave. The more she took care of them, the fewer there would be to bother the other Users. Still, though. She was getting tired of this almost morbid chore. Almost? No, it was definitely morbid and depressing.

Nisha could tell that enemies were near. By the time they turned the corner, the Shadows received a wave of destruction in the form of Akasha Arts. The smaller of the two, one of the Mayas, tried to slam into her. Its effectiveness was questionable. And by “questionable”, this case was definitely “ineffective”. The hand charged itself. The giant willed for another Akasha Arts. The Maya splattered into blackness, but the hand remained. Nisha followed up on that by charging in and swinging her crowbar downward, ripping the insides of the hand out and ending it all in one go. With that, the battle was over. Good thing, too. She was a little tired.

Tired and alone, the giant slumped against the wall. The fights were truly getting to her. Physically, she'd be fine with time. Her shoulder would stop bothering her. Probably before she left the building, she'd be fine in that regard. That was her body's ridiculous strength. Even so, she would still be tired. Physically, yes, but emotionally was the worst bit. Fighting by herself felt hollow now. This was especially the case right after a proper battle with allies. Everyone had come together and fought as a singular mass. The many became one. And that “one” did battle with greater enemies, bringing them down. It was a great sensation. It was wonderful that they could all work together. However, there, alone, she wondered. . . exactly to what end was she fighting for?
