Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
This was Xain's first real voyage into what was known as the Shadowlands. He doubted he would encounter anything of good intent, so he constantly scanned his environment. He was on the prowl for shadows. he needed to work on combat. He was pitiful, and he recognized this. That in mind, he needed more experience in the field.
He climbed into a modern art gallery and attached his spears. He was picking up something, but he didn't know what. "Come out. I know you are around. There is no use in hiding." He called out to anything near him. It took him a moment to calculate that he wasn't in a strategic position, but oh well. It was too late now.
Xain watched as a simple shadow, a slime looking one. He registered it in his memory banks, then took note of it's read appearance. It would logically use fire and be weak to ice... Sadly, I can't use ice.
With a metallic sigh, he summoned his Persona. Principality appeared, and immediately followed its master's unspoken command. Raising his weapon high, the Persona raised its staff and hurled it through the shadow. The slime shrieked in pain before using a fire spell. This caught Xain off guard and burned his chassis. Registering damage, the robot dashed up and attacked using his spear attachments. The shadow vaporized around the weapons, but not before smashing Xain with a final attack.
Harmed, but not too horribly bad, the android shuffled out of the museum.
