Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.
With footsteps echoing through the halls, Xain was going through the museum for a second time. Last time he had been here, he had encountered the most basic of shadows. Not wanting to fight against solely weak shadows, he ventured further than last time.
He attached his spears again, and practiced summoning Principality. When he was sure everything was in working order, he started to patrol again. He was sure to encounter something before long. That was only the logical course of action to plan on. Nothing else was really possible, so the robot started to practice thrusting his weapons.
He felt he would need all the practice he could get.
Walking through the area, Xain finally came across a shadow. Something about it seemed weaker than the first one he had encountered. Deciding to test his theory, the machine simply thrust with his spears. The creature cringed at the blow.
With a grin, Xain decided to end this quickly. However, as he summoned his Persona the shadow surprised him and attacked with lightning. Xain's systems started to overload, greatly weakening him.
Now mad, the robot summoned Principality. He felt that something new was usable, so he called upon the celestial being to show him its new power. He watched in astonishment as the Persona enveloped the shadow in darkness.
Xain looked around. He couldn't detect anything else that was living, so he assumed all shadows in the area were either dead or hiding themselves somehow. Either way, the robot had done all that he could in the area. He summoned Principality and healed himself.
Before he left, though, he wanted to see something. He went and found a painting, and decided to inspect it and compare it to the other paintings in the area. After spending a decent amount of time comparing the painting to others, Xain left the museum. What had he learned about art? Not a thing.
