Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

There was always something about the more humane side of him that wondered about what these things, these pictures and paintings, could bring to a person. Did it evoke memories of events long past, or did were they an escape from the harsher depictions of reality? There were so many questions that the more inquisitive part of the Android wanted to ask yet the more he did, the more he simply got lost looking for the answers. Provided that he was more application than theoretical, Vincent barely ever went introspective like this and preferred to just bust through his problems rather than become all pathetic about it.
So when the more goal oriented part of his programming kicked in, the Machine had set out towards the Forbidden Lands in an effort to at least try and achieve something to say that he was steadily working towards his objective. In some twistedly humane way, it was also an excuse to try and bring himself back up to what he was before. His metallic body couldn't remember experiences, but some of the glitches in his memory banks often told him of what he had been capable of. That was something worthy to note of, and looking around these halls for something to test his current capabilities seemed to be prudent.
Only problem now was where he could attain better materials to upgrade himself.

His chain wrapped against some kind of handle and with the monstrous strength provided to him by his android body, managed to unhinge the rickety door open. For one thing, it was good to know that his programming still allowed for such a wide array of movement. Problem was how to bloody apply that against the damn shadow that was rushing at him. The persona he had with him came back to life the moment he passed through the opened pathway and counter rushed the Metal Tiara with his own Assault Dive. Through some way or another, the metallic Persona managed to Smash the Tiara upwards, getting it caught between his Lyre and the metal ridges of the door. The inanimate object dug through the squishy exterior of the shadow and had caused the thing to melt down into a black puddle of nothing.
And suddenly a blast of fire pierced through the apparition and smacked at Vincent's chest directly. The material of his metal torso burned slightly. it wasn't enough to be irreparable but it'd still be a bitch to clean up come the next day. Still, it wasn't anything that the Anti Shadow Unit couldn't handle, and he's too damn good to just let something like that be the fall of him. Another barrage of lyre assaults on the thing, and throwing his chains around in a more painful manner, was a good enough solution to tear the thing a new one.
It was also a good thing that no one gave a damn about the paintings anymore. Vincent didn't want to pay for all of these property damage.

The puddle of black intestines soon evaporated away whilst the android made sure to stay back to check up if they dropped anything. His memory might be fragmented but he still had a couple of them remaining. Looking over at the things around it, the anti shadow unit gave a mechanical sigh as nothing came up for him on the radar.
Reeling in back the chains after whirling them around to get that shadow gunk off of them, Vincent brushed away the dirt that had accumulated on himself before letting the artificial skin crawl back unto his metallic frame. With that done, the once more inexperienced fighter strolled out of the place. That was enough shadows for the time being, and it wasn't like he can't just come back here again.
