Name: Bobbie Acula
Age: Original time of operation was six years. After the attempted restoration, time of activity has only been a few months.
Date of Birth: October 31st
Birthplace: This unit was built and activated at a facility in [REDACTED]. Given that it was utilized in a number of Anti-Shadow operations around the world, it has gotten around.
Gender: Though the unit's creator was an asshole that nearly gave it a hermaphroditic body structure, it was eventually decided that it would be declared a “she” and given a feminine body structure.
Sexual Orientation: During her original run, Bobbie expressed an aesthetic interest and fascination with both male and female humans. After the restoration, she has not shown active interest in others.
Face Claim: Arcueid Brunestud - Tsukihime
Appearance:
Height: 5'6
Distinguishing Features: There are numerous “junction lines” along her body due to its holding numerous deactivated pieces of weaponry. However, these lines are hidden by the self-healing, skin-mimicking “flesh” that closes up over these openings after weapon-use. This allows her to cling to the illusion of being human while still providing a method to host any number of weapons within her body.
Class: Anti-Shadow Weapon; Veteran through prolonged experience in the field.
Arcana: The Hanged Man
Occupation: Shadow-suppression Tank; volunteer scare-r anywhere she goes
Weapons and Proficiencies: Bobbie is equipped with segmented chainsaws (Slash) that are quickly and precisely assembled while her arms “separate” and withdraw her hands. The chainsaws are quite large, and require complete assembly and disassembly before and after every use in order to fit within her arm compartments. Other weapon functionality is still locked after the restoration.
Personality:
Bobbie is unique compared to other units in the manner that she's a second-revision Anti-Shadow Weapon. This isn't in the sense that she's a specialized model (though she is, but we'll cover that later), but in the sense that this is literally her “second-run” as a weapon. Part of a specialized program from the get-go, her memories and personality were all backed up regularly during her original run. When her first host body was effectively totaled, the attempted restoration from the back-ups didn't quite align properly. Because of that, her memories of her past “life” are fragmented and confusing, coming in bits and pieces. Similarly, the personality that was built by these memories and experiences “toggles” on and off on occasion, typically as a result of various stimuli. Because of all this, Bobbie will sometimes come off as bipolar.
Personally, Bobbie does not desire these “flashbacks”. They often leave her confused, and, on numerous occasions around her previous allies, it makes them feel alienated when she goes from her creepy and macabre-loving self back to the friendly and touchy self of her past run. Partially out of respect for those that seemed strong, and partially to prevent herself from feeling even more alienated than they, she had taken to keeping to herself while around the labs. That was the standard until she was directed as an additional resource to Mosaic.
In the present, she's taken to presenting herself as a creep. Not a pervert, mind you, but a literal creep that calmly says disturbing and scary things. She enjoys seeing the looks of fear on others' faces, deriving a sort of sadistic pleasure from it, even if she means no real harm. Sure, she might have just likened the situation to a slasher flick and mentioned that you didn't know anything about her, but it's not like she'll pop a knife out and shank you!
She's more a chainsaw girl.
That said, she's well-meaning enough. Some qualities that existed in her current run times meshed with those of her previous, so there is a degree of commonality between them. She's friendly enough if you can get aside the fact that she'd likely rev a chainsaw to scare the shit out of you, just for that purpose. Or fake a scream. Or, you know, hide in the shadows or stalk you. It's all in good fun, though!
Now, despite her creepy-playful attitude towards ninety percent of, well, everything, she can be serious when she needs to be. Serious enough that she'll do it while still uttering appropriately-themed comments. Shadow-busting time? Kids, offensive system have not activated. Fucking Desolation Drive just started, and things are going to get nasty. That said, unlike some of her siblings, she does not have the same mission priority for Shadow erasure. Being the spawn of a certain asshole had benefits, like being able to decide when to address certain “priorities”.
All in all, she's a “girl” with her issues and her priorities, and they're not all necessarily straight or organized. She can be just as human as the next girl. Hell, she's even got her own mental disorder. Just, uh. She's got some unique modifications your girlfriend doesn't have. You know. Chainsaws in the arms and all.

History:
Shadow Suppression Device ER-A1 was designed almost entirely by a certain genius. Most people called him an asshole, and his real name would be redacted, so we'll just call him Doctor Asshole. Doctor Asshole was a genius that took his work very seriously. Given that he spearheaded the creation of his own units, he took very special care in specializing the few he managed to make. How are they special? Unlike other units, which likely lacked certain features due to their inorganic nature, his ER line were created with the purpose of emulating human life to the fullest extent. On the outside, they were structurally similar to humans in every way- including sexual organs. On the inside, they were equipped with a system that would allow consumption and appreciation for food substances. Similarly, in accordance with love and preferences, their mobile platforms could translate attraction to a physical response.
For all intents and purposes, they were artificially created humans.
Fortunately, Doctor Asshole did not follow through when he expressed an interest in making their body structure hermaphroditic. On the other hand, he essentially gave birth to a grown woman with chainsaw arms, thermal optics, and numerous other weapons located throughout her body. It kind of evened out in the long run. That said, Unit ER-A1, codenamed “BOBBIE”, or “Brilliantly-Overpowered Battle Bot, Intelligently-Engineered”, was the first Anti-Shadow unit designed by Doctor Asshole. As such, she was adequately “babied” by the man until she hit the fields.
Anti-Shadow devices were built to last, but all eventually broke, or were pitted against something beyond their abilities to handle. Whether it was a result of her unique design, or just an unyielding will, Bobbie came out of warzone after warzone just fine. Sure, there was some damage here and there, but nothing was perfect. Not yet, the good doctor had noted. The machine made a number of allies and friends in the organization. She was easily approachable, a reliable asset in battle, and pretty trustworthy. “Girls' Night”, in one group, always had her there for the party. Her good rapport with her colleagues escalated. There were even some rumors about relationships transcending friendships.
But, all things, both good and bad, come to an end sometime.
It was after the woman's “sixth birthday” that a particularly nasty assignment went through. Now, by this point, Bobbie was already essentially one of the elite. The best of the best- built to last, hardened further by experience, and surrounded with capable allies. No matter the threat, they could take it down without an issue, right? Well, good for them to cling to hope like that, but it was nothing quite as simple or pleasant when reality came crashing down.
The mission itself was a nightmare. Sure, they only had a few noteworthy targets, but quantity didn't matter when faced with quality. These Shadows were ridiculously powerful, vicious, and they had a small gathering of lesser Shadows. Guerrilla tactics, overwhelming numbers, and surprising resilience all proved to play against the elite squad. Eventually, they were cornered. None were dead- not yet- but there were some injuries. Exhaustion clawed its way through most of the humans, and Bobbie's own energy reserves were running low. Their enemies? The lesser annoyances were gone. One of the bigger problems was dead. The rest were still in reasonably good shape.
Bobbie had always recognized, understood, and accepted the fact that, while she was equipped with all the functions that made her “human-like”, she was not, in fact, human. No, what it all boiled down to was that she was a machine designed and built for the sake of protecting humans and killing Shadows. She had her own dreams, yeah. She had her own goals, sure. But she had allies and friends that couldn't come back. Her? Her stuff was backed up. She could just be downloaded to a mobile terminal and hop back to it, no worries. Her fleshy friends? Flat lining was the end of it. So, she had to act to ensure their safety. It wasn't a priority determined by her system, though. Nah, she wasn't restrained by issues like that. It was her choice as. . . well, as close to a human as she would be.
With an assurance that everything would be fine, she distanced herself from the group. The Shadows all flowed in, intent on focusing their efforts on the one before proceeding inward.
Just as planned.
The world went white for the Users. For Bobbie, it went black, like someone had flicked off all the world's lights, from the smallest lamps to the biggest stars. Can a machine dream? Yeah. But can the dream transcend the life? Nobody would really know the answer to that. The one that could have answered went out in a literal blaze of glory. The Armageddon Surge self-destruct functionality of the machine was activated and executed. The Shadows, as well as Bobbie, had all vanished. It was a small-scale explosion, but what was caught in it was gone, as though existence itself had erased everything standing within range, including the ground itself, from the records.
That was the final recorded action for Shadow Suppression Device ER-A1.
Following the end of the mission, Doctor Asshole activated ER-A2. Much to the horror of the surviving members of the mission, the second unit was identical to the first- a questionable fact, considering that he had been severely reprimanded for the funding put into making A1 so human. Well, Doctor Asshole prepared both units at that time. With all of A1's experiences, previous to that final mission, backed up, the good doctor was prepared to restore “Bobbie” to proper running condition.
But there were errors. Data corruption occurred at the last moment. The result was a fragmented “Bobbie” flowing into the new A2 vessel. What was born was a confused cluster that was shunned by the friends she had had during her first run. One couldn't blame them, though. Staring dead forward at a friend and ally that had given her life to save them and complete the mission, switching from friendly and warm to confused and distant would wear down anybody.
Filled with confusion, fear, and a number of other things, Bobbie kept to herself outside of necessity. Fed those estranged emotions, as her Persona morphed to match her fragmented “self”, with horror and the macabre. Her new “self” gradually pieced itself together. And, with it, her Persona finally developed into a new, whole, entity. Just in time to be shipped off to the latest “big deal”. That is, Mosaic.
The rest of this nightmare? Well, it'll just have to play out on its own.
