Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Back with not so much vengeance as it is preparation, the Red Android once more treks down the halls of the abandoned art gallery. The constant passing of his presence within the place, against the shadows, were at least helping him get back to the groove of things. Though he may remember some of the tactics and strategies he's used before, the current grade of ability he had with him was still subpar.
Dangling his chains around him, letting them cause a racket on the floor to attract the shadows, Vincent's goal for today was not to know more of the place but to simply relearn how to fight. For what use is the knowledge gained when one cannot use it?

Looks like his former experience fortunately didn't fail him this time. Shadows were still affected by stimuli, though to how strong and the degree of it had yet to be recovered. But then again, that was what this whole exercise was for. The Android, after having successfully lured out a singular Shadow, had decided to go on ahead and engage it in combat.
Being able to strike first, the red robot sent out a frenzy of his whips as to which the Maya retaliated in a very aggressive manner. Literally throwing itself at him, the Maya ended up smacking right dab against Vincent's frame and had rattled the fighter. Shaking his head, more out of habit than necessity, the Machine made sure to take note to how much his systems told him he could still take. When everything was still in the healthy green, Vincent then summoned his aide for the battle.
A mechanical figure much like himself, Orpheus then produced his Lyre and dashed forward to meet with the Maya blow for blow. A lucky strike from the Persona had been reason enough to have the Maya flung back towards the wall, to which Vincent had followed up with a nasty smack with his chains. The result was that of some maya puddle on the floor and some more property damage. Rolling his wrists, Vincent was pretty sure that the fight went rather well compared to his first few attempts. Hopefully he was getting back into the hang of things.

A few moments later, as per usual, the black puddle began to evaporate into red mist. Having seen this countless times, Vincent's reaction was to simply wait for it to finish. They usually left something behind when it happened, and it wasn't like he was in any danger from being attacked. His sensors doing fine with his optical equipment not registering anything in the hallways as a suitable threat to him.
Raising an eyebrow at what had been left behind, some kind of medicine bottle, Vincent simply bent down and inspected the contents. It looked generic enough, but some further testing would be prudent. If that didn't work, he could always just toss it somewhere else and be done with it.
