Mosaic City, located along China's coast, is quite large city sometimes called the Crossroads Between Nations due to its diverse population. While it was once a large tourist spot, the city was placed under a blockade as the military appeared claiming there was a radiation leak. The true hazard, however, is much more sinister.

Now this was something both different and cliche. From what Vincent had been able to gather of the situation here in Mosaic, the only possible way of getting to the outside was through the terminal and that for one reason or another, there weren't any shadows within the city, or what was left of it, proper. So when his sensors had began to pick up some kind of signal by the graveyard during one of his trips in an effort to map the city itself, the Red Android couldn't help himself but check it out.
If it was a threat, then it had to be dealt with. And if it was, then he wondered why the existing Users, or from what Pyxis had told him some time ago, had yet to deal with it. Idle thoughts had no place in a battle however, and the deeper that the robot went the stronger the signs of shadow activity become. Guess he'll be asking a lot more questions the next time he met someone who was remotely even in the know of the situation.

The continuous warning signs that kept appearing on his hud was beginning to annoy the Android. Yes, he knew that the place was dangerous and that there were enemies potentially lurking around every corner. It, however, did not mean that he was fine with the massive red letters blocking his optics. He was already on guard anyway so turning them off wasn't much of a problem. The moment the obnoxious red letters disappeared from his vision, everything was suddenly replaced with a swath of blue before the android felt his systems freeze up.
This is why he hated having his vision obscured. Moving the motors present in his body, Vincent surged forward not necessarily caring about what was going to happen as he wrapped the chains around his fist. A solid punch found itself buried in the Gigas' squishy innards before the Anti Shadow Unit felt two needles poke him. Well, good to know he still had some kind of resistance to Pierce attacks. At the range they were in, Vincent summoned the Persona and ordered Orpheus to unleash a Dream Fist on the unlucky piece of dead meat. The attack connected, and with a stroke of luck, his opponent suddenly slumped over.
It was by no means dead, given that shadows turned into goo whenever that happened, which meant that his little trick had managed to cause the damnable thing to fall asleep. Oh this was gonna be fun. Taking a moment to heal himself, Orpheus playing a soothing note for a moment, Vincent then asked the lyre-user to repeatedly smash the thing with Dream Fist. Again and again it cracked, shuddered, and crumbled under the continuous onslaught of attacks.

The squishy sensation of his feet connecting to the puddle beneath his feet was slightly leaning towards the disgusting section as opposed to what should have been an indifferent reaction. And like most of the times he'd been out in the recent week, Vincent was half expecting to already have something ready for him for when the puddle evaporated. He may not have wanted to admit it, but he was slightly disappointed at the lack of anything appearing. The medicine he'd been able to secure had been a bit of help for the old man back at the workshop. Humans could be so frail sometimes, that their insides could be terrorised like that. Still, he was better now and that was what mattered.
Turning around, smacking his whips against the concrete once more, Vincent then proceeded to leave the catacombs. The next time he went here, he'd be expending a bit more time with memorising the layout rather than getting his abilities up to par again.
